I guess I'm going to have to pass on this one, it's quite a shame but I really can't keep with everything, and fantasy of any kind is time consuming, it's rather to little too late for me on this one, but maybe in the future if we have proper one set up and I'm able to cut down on other time consuming pools then I'll definitely give it a go.

Fantasy games are something I really enjoy to play but in a proper way. That means thread for banter and some money on the line. Don't even have to be sponsored money I am not that familiar with UCL fantasy but I think we can make a league starting from any round. So if there is interest we can just agree to start on GW3 or something to give us plenty of time.

Don't know why but Fantasy is always fun for me while Superbru pools are starting to be a bit boring and feel like chores more and more.

GW5 is closing in and I wonder how many people will use their wildcard chip. Some say it's better to keep it for GW6 but I couldn't wait that long I'm afraid.    Because my team was a real mess and using the 1st wildcard was a big help for me.

I had players like Watkins, Tielemans and some players from Forest also. My only regret is not buying Semenyo... Salah is also scaring me with his unreliable performance. He makes goal contribution somehow but until when by playing this ineffective?

Palmer started scoring goals very quickly after recovering from his injury. I can say that I regret to have sold him already now. I can buy him back when I use wildcard. I'm curious about Haaland's performance aganist Arsenal away this week. I guess I'll pick Semenyo for my captain.

I'm not reverting back to Palmer anytime soon, at least for now until when I'm overhauling my team and that's if I find him worthy then, because there are so many cheaper options doing equally better, my main concern is Ekitike or Isak, because it's tougher to pick one of them while Florian Wirtz is still a no show in all competition.

I just need someone else who isn't fucking "Wastekins" or Mateta...

Anybody that had Semenyo in their team from the beginning must be happy. I think a lot of participants regret not adding Semenyo to their teams but that is part of the learning process. As for Salah, he has not been as effective this season but given time I am sure he will produce the results that are expected of him.

If Aston Villa and Watkins continue to show a this terrible performance the first name in my mind to buy is Woltemade. I can comfortably say that he didn't have a bad performance at all in his first match at Newcastle. I'm quite hesitant about Palmer. Most of us make this mistakes and have been having difficult start to the season, seriously the likes of Aston Villa who had expected to make big difference at the start of the season have been disappointing so far, for me I think that it is definitely time to move away from Aston Villa, Watkins if they fail to deliver in the next three matches which is there less difficult matches. In terms of defense I think it is fair to say Arsenal currently has the best defense in the league and coming out of this tough fixtures without conceding much is worth to go in for their defenders, one that I am looking at signing is Timber or Calafiori

When you're the main striker and your team is zero goal scored into the season you deserved to be benched-  cause that's your primary duty - when the team is conceeding too many goals, the defenders and goalkeeper take the hit for it. It's normal everywhere.

Benching him is not the problem but who's going to replace him? Can't remember any backup.

I would quite agree with you on this, with Wastekins, I believe the worse had already happened so there no else to lose, even Woltemade who could have been an immediate switch started from the bench against Barcelona, not saying he wouldn't start in the PL ahead of Gordon though, I'd expect him too.

And for Liverpool, with Isak in the mix now, it's tougher have 3 attacking assets, Wirtz isn't providing any result, Ekitike and Isak at least for feels like a dice throw, even though it will be Isak's spot when all things is said and done, I presume, so Gakpo and Salah remains the most guaranteed players right now in attack, while VVD would have been a great addition for defcon potentials and goal threat from set pieces, the fact that Liverpool can barely keep a clean sheet right now makes him a bit expensive for the second premium defender.

I got Salah for 3 game weeks out of four. And I have to say that those week without him was the unluckiest for me. I am pretty satisfied with his performance, however I admit that this year is the first one for me, I have never participated in Fantasy Premier League before, that is why there is no much for me to compare with. But I see that Salah brings high points. Though I decided to make him vice-captain this week, and replaced him as captain by Haaland.

Yep, that'll be me. He was a first-choice mid for me, I almost thought I wouldn't have him when he seemed destined to head out but so glad they kept him. With him on the team, even if Bournemouth loses, he picks up points.

I would definitely be interested in a UCL fantasy pool. I saw yesterday that someone was playing a UCL pool with their friend at our local football pitch, and from what I could tell, it’s pretty much the same as EPL Fantasy. Maybe it’s something Trofo could consider for next year.

I’m also interested to see if we could start it for Gameweek 2, but I’m not sure how many others would be interested.

I still haven't figured out my next move, maybe I'm just going to leave my team as it is, and have 3 transfer for next game week, or just make 2 transfer and play my bench boost, I'm sure it will be one or other by the time I'm conclude, but one thing is certain I'm sticking to you advise and keeping Wastekins for another week.

It might not be a good idea drop him right now. At the end of the day he has a proven track record and will eventually score the goals that Liverpool need to push for retaining the Premier League title and maybe try to win some cup competitions along the way.

It is a learning process. Sometimes adding a player while he is in excellent form might not give you points but to add them before they hit form is a difficult task. I will try my best to avoid repeating the error I made last week. Either I will select my team within a short time or very early in the morning before the deadline.
