Nigeria will be playing against South Africa in their next match. Seriously, if I am predicting the winner of the match, then I will be choosing Nigeria to win. The Super Eagles performance has increased recently, and the only problem that I notice is that they are always finding it difficult to score goals in most of their matches, which they should try to fix, but their defense is kind of strong, which I am sure they will be able to hold South Africa down, and Nigeria are having dangerous strikers, so I just think Nigeria has higher chances of winning the match than South Africa, but in football anything is possible, so we should just wait and see the result of the match.

Well, as a Nigerian myself, I will never stop supporting my country regardless of anything, I am also believing that the super eagles will beat South Africa come Wednesday in their semi finals encounter, but all I pray for is that they apply some more seriousness in their game.
Their last game against Angola was very good in the first half, which i believe is the reason why they got a goal in that same first half, but sincerely speaking, in the second half, the game play of the super eagles wasn't as impressive as their game play in the first half, they missed a lot of goals in the second half, and one that osimhen managed to score was later canceled, they allowed the Angolan team to possess the ball too much and it was only by luck did the Angolan team missed the opportunity to equalize the goal in the second half.

So, all I am saying is that, regardless of the fact that the super eagles are doing well really, they still need to step up their game and play more seriously while maintaining same of defence or even improve more in it, because as the tournament is drawing nearer to the end, the game is hitting up and teams still in the game are all playing with all seriousness, if we as the Nigerian team have come this far, we can as well go for the trophy 🏆.

The Nigerian team became nieve in the second half as they were trying to defend the goal they scored in the first half. This gave the Angolian side the opportunity to take control of the game in the second half. They shouldn't make that same mistake in the next game, they shouldn't be afraid of coming out to play their opponent. If you give your opponent too much chances to possess the ball there is every possibility that they will score. The eagles has to understand that if they don't get to the finals, their efforts so far is a waste.

In as much the Super Eagle defence remain solid as it was in all their previous matches I don't think the South Africans Bafana Bafana stand any chance of scoring a goal against the Nigerian team, they assembled one of the best defense line in the competition and with some of the  best attackers though had not been scoring wide margin goals yet they always take up their chances to score goals I believe that is where they have an edge over the South Africans and the fact that they are aiming to lift the AFCON trophy the Super Eagle would go for an outright win as it is now they are definitely a major contender of the trophy having eliminated the likes of Cameroon and Angola.

One very good advantage the south Africans have got is the excellence of their goal keeper, the Eagle really have to be mindful of him because even if the eagles are able to get through to the eighteenth hard box they may find it really difficult to breakthrough the defense of the south Africans buy then I trust Victor osimhen with he's creativity and stamina to be able to her through at any slightest opportunity, a counter attack will be the best strategy with which the eagles Will be able to bear the south Africans because knowing what this match entails, the south Africans will guard their defense so we'll or avoid conceding goals.

The host country Ivory Coast have a good team work that is why as they qualified to quarter final I have a bit assurance that they will progress to the semifinals because I know that they are a better side than Senegal and historically, Ivory Coast have good winning ratio over Senegal and Mali, that is why they were able to defeat them all.

Ivory coast might progress to the final because DR Congo has only win them once in their last five matches, while Ivory Coast won two, and they drew two as well; and the performance of both team is impressive, but Ivory Coast will have home advantage.

They are the host and have shown an uncommon commitment to make the nation proud. They just survived by grace to the second round and since then, they have not let the nation and fans down. They sacked a foreign coach Jean-Louis Gasset and appointed former Ivorian International and ex-Reading and Nantes midfielder Emerse Fae. It seems the players are giving the 40-year-old former midfielder all the support and he might make history with them.

Is the Nigeran team assured of the final?

we all have that belief that the Super Eagles will win but now that stories are saying that Victor Osimen is currently having issues with his kneel might make it a lot bit difficult for us because that is the only key player that we have, and his the one gave support to us, I hope that he will be present in the finals. and the Eagles are doing very well with a complete squad because the moment anything happens to Victor. and with encouragement i think we still have a better chance even if osimen will not be present, games like this are always difficult to predict because both of them will say they have come a long way to be relenting and i don't see there fault at all, Nigerians know that we have high hopes for them to come home with the trophy.

And if Nigeria can organize there self well then if with south African having a good goal keeper wont safe them, i know is a added advantage but we are still going to penetrate them and even them will be surprised. i would have loved if osimen will be around, it will make the whole game interesting and a higher chance of winning, and i am already imagining how the whole thing will look like.  and the way people are talking about the defense of the south Africans i know they are good but people putting to much of trust in there defense and at the end of the day i don't pray they get don't get dissapointed because football is always full of surprises you should expect anything any day any time, just watch and hope for the best.

Mostly, teams that qualified as best losers are always lucky, but this time I don’t think Ivory Coast can be lucky against the Super Eagles of Nigeria because the Super Eagles is the team with most reliable defense in the tournament. Ivory Coast have good wingers and midfielders, but their defense is not as good as the Super Eagle's defense which is why I am given much hope that the Super Eagle will emerge the winner and the Champions of this year 2023/24 Afcon competition. Nevertheless, anything can happen because football always gives us surprises that is why it is called the best sport in the world.

Ivory coast performance recently has really shocked me because, many people thought that they will drop out after losing to Nigeria 0:1 but they had  a good luck to eliminate Senegal in the penalty shootout to qualified for semi-final.

D. R Congo is a strong team in this season and, they will not likely to take this semi-final easy with Ivory coast because they have potential strikers that will score goals that will give them victory from the game to face Nigeria in the final battle because Nigeria will beat south Africa tomorrow to secure the opportunity to use all their strength to ensure they break record to lift the trophy this season.

Of course, D.R. Congo is a team to be weary of in this tournament. I watched several of their games especially in the group stage where they held Morroco to a draw. They have had other crucial like eliminating Egypt but if we're being honest some of these big teamz like Egypt, Morroco and Algeria underperformed so it's hard to say if Congo is just too good, or the other teams were just terrible.

I'll wait for the outcome of Congo vs Ivory to before I can have an opinion about the finals — this is assuming that Nigeria will win against South Africa.

I'm no longer interested in all this postulations, same way we assumed Angola to be a tough one for the super Eagles till we unfolded our potentials. Let's just sit tight and wait till that faithful day when the decision is to be made on who qualifies straight to the final.

Oshimen has been a big threat in every matches we played, he draws attention of defenders all to himself because they see him as a bigger threat giving our other strikers the chance to penetrate very well, him missing the match may be a doom but we pray him quick recovery so he can join the match.

The match has entered the semifinals and of course no team should be underestimated, Indeed in terms of quality and composition of players, Nigeria is more promising because they have many players who play in Europe, but looking at the journey of the Bafana Bafana team, of course they cannot be underestimated,  Even though they only rely on players who play in the local league, in fact the Bafana Bafana team is able to go quite far in the African Cup this season, with so many South African players playing in one club, of course Nigeria should be alert, because after all, the solidarity of the South African team can become the advantage for them, because the South African players really understand where and how their teammates move so that it will be easy for South African players to score goals and defend.

I will follow the odds on Nigeria versus South Africa match, because the super eagles of Nigeria are all foreign based players with much experience on matches like this. Nigeria has a good defense and South Africa might find it difficult for them to break through their defense. If you look at all the matches that Nigeria have played since the beginning of the tournament, they have only conceded one goal, to show you how strong their defense and goalkeeper is.

Nigeria has won their matches within 90 mins, but South Africa gave qualified with a penalty shoot out. The Super Eagles are really prepared for tomorrow's match, and I believe that their coach will play a strategy that will make them win their opponent. The match wouldn't end with penalty but with a clean victory, all these are what the bookers considered before they gave those odds

I watched the last match between south Africa and Cape Verde and I was really disappointed at the level of play of Banana  Bafana players. They were pressed heavily in that game and were lucky Gilson kept missing important chance to put Cape Verde in front.

The savior they had was their keeper who's very good in saving penalties. I'm really optimistic that super eagles will win them tomorrow, but as we all know, football isn't mathematics and they will prepare even more with the status of the match at hand. Osihmen its also injured at the moment and I just pray he recovers for the match cos his impact is second to none in the front line.

If these 9 people were from the European championship (or even better from the European top championship) then this would matter, but on the contrary it looks like they didn’t find anyone better than 9 people from the local championship (from where everyone who can leaves for rich championships , no offense, but am I wrong?).
Maybe the bookmakers have some insight regarding Osimhen? Because the quotes for the upcoming game have not changed at all at the moment:
