Nigeria are playing to expectation with a very high spirit in this game unlike how we have seen Angola held other teams they had played against in this AFCON to a stand still it is different with in this game against Nigeria. Like you said, the Nigeria defence is good nothing giving the Angola's forwards to see a space to trouble the goal post with shots. Right now Nigeria is leading with a one goal and we hope they be able to secure or get more goals as they come back to the second half.

Both sides have been good but, Nigeria has been exceptional in this particular fixtures compared to all the games they’ve played in the AFCON so far. It’s not just entertaining but, seeing how both sides keeps going forward and how the Nigerian defense intercept the ball at every given advance at goal shows the level of determination they came with in this square fixture of the tournament.
Alex Iwobi have been maned the mid field so dominantly and what a great pass he delivered to Moses Simone who made the move to create that goal opportunity for Lookman, Nigeria has just best there game in this quarter finals, no question.

it was a disappointing night for the Angola's as Nigeria had to denied them all the gift items that was promised to them by their country which was part of a way to ignite their determination in the game but Nigeria wasn't an easy side for them Angola to get a win from. Nigeria's defence in that game was just wonderful with all the interceptions and the goalkeeper wasn't left out in carrying out his role in the goalpost by regularly intercepting almost every crossed pass in the air at the goalpost from reaching to the head of an Angola player.  Moving to the next stage of the competition I would believe Nigeria can get get to the finals of this tournament and possibly win it if they continue with this determination and team work, that's if injury doesn't set into the team. Havent the Angola team had a lot enough of victory over the Nigerian team in decades. This is the time for the Super Eagles to sour higher. It has not been easy for them at the start of the competition. But look how far they have gone. Who would have thought they will progress to the Semi finals after all hope were lost when they drew their first match. Most fans  concluded that they were not serious in the competition when they started missing so many goal opportunities during the knockout stages.

However, what will be will be. If it is Gods decision that the  super eagles team will win the competition then it will definitely happen. Although, it doesnt mean that other teams did not perform well. There mist always be a loser and a winner.

The best performing team will win the tournament. I don't really believe that God will favor any team above others. In football there is only one thing that guarantee victory which is hard work. I expect the super eagles to progress to the final. This can only be possible if they work harder than their game between Angola as they are equally playing a tougher opponent this time around.

Angola was a dying lion to Nigeria Super Eagles yesterday. Mostly from 90 minutes time, omen, those players were like a lion on the field. They played with all their strength and all their might to make sure that they scored one goal to equalize with Nigeria and win the match with penalty but luck gone out from them so all their efforts were nothing.
And now Cape Verde and South Africa is playing and Cape Verde is possessing ball more than South Africa and the way I am perceiving, Cape Verde will win the match because they are oppressing their opponent too much.

Ademola Lookman is player who was raised by English football and he has developed very well so that now his performance as striker is also very competitive.
With Nigeria he has provided 3 goals and 1 assist in 5 matches in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations.

He still has lots of impact to make in this Afcon as his goals have helped Nigeria sail through to the Semis. The super eagles performance has really improved, I can see a difference in their performance right now compared to when they were still playing in the group stage, their performance was just really poor in the group stage of the cup. With their performance currently, I won’t just be surprised if the super eagles get to the final, and I am even expecting the super eagles to win the African Cup of Nations this year.

The reaction of the coach of the Mali national team at final whistle in their CAF African Cup Of Nations quarter final game against host nation Ivory Coast tells how disappointing he already feels for himself after his team failed to beat a 10 man Ivorian team. In my own opinion, I don't think he has any reason not to win that game and qualify his team to play in the semi final of the competition.
The Ivorian national team I know will be very much happy with the result and the celebration of the players, fans and the former Ivorian great players at the sound of the referee's final whistle tells how relieving and important the win was to the entire nation. Ronwen Williams saved four penalty kicks, won it for South Africa. He psychologically defeated the Cape Verde players who saw how good he was with the saves and became tense taking their kicks. The South African Goal keeper had obviously practiced a lot for penalty situations because he looked well prepared.

Cape Verde was one of the best teams in this competition, they played as a team and should be proud of their achievement from this competition although they failed to make it to the semi finals which if they had would have been the first time in their history.  

South Africa are very good with counter attacks, Nigeria has to be weary of that when we meet on the 7th of this month. It will also be a game between the best goalkeepers of this competition, because asides Williams, Nwabali is also very good.

Again, I won't be surprised if Ivory Coast makes it to the Nigeria and gets to play Nigeria once again. That would be a MUST-WATCH.

Ivory Coast have already made it to the semifinals, and DR Congo also won their game, which means Ivory Coast will definitely play with DR Congo. I have always admired your contributions on this platform as far as this tournament of AFCON is concerned and I am at this point very curious to know which team or country do you think would reach finals and which country do you think will be the Champions of this year's AFCON cup.

For me, I would like to predict that Nigeria is most likely to take this championship back home following the history of the previous years. Egypt is the most successful country in the history of AFCON having seven trophies in the tournament, followed by Cameroon that has five and Ghana who has four the Nigeria that has three.

Now since Egypt, Cameroon and Ghana are already out of the way, it is only reasonable for us to say that Nigeria can be the next champion of this cup.

This is coupled with the great performance they played on the pitch from the first match one to today they can share that they make the country scare through all the hudgles of this tournament and talk to the semifinals with this energy I believe in Nigeria can take this cup back home this time around but lets here from you

Angola players really Shaked Nigeria players but the super eagles prove to them that they came with potential squads players which the evidence was there when the super eagles made the goals two in the second half but one goal Victor Osimhen scored was cancelled but it was not a challenge to super eagles at the moment.

Despite the opportunity given to Mali to win ivory coast yesterday based on one of the player of Ivory coast got red card but they miss used the opportunity and Ivory coast use the advantage to scored the second goal in the extra time that gave them the victory and, as it stand now in the semi-final, I think Nigeria and ivory coast will still meet again in the semi-final.

Hmmm, this will definitely going to be a mouth watering encounter between this two teams,  even though when you look at the record between Nigeria and south Africa it has always been a one-sided affair, in the sense that, Nigeria always come out on top, but I still think that this one is different due to the stage of their meeting and what it as stake, so the south Africa side will give more fight than the previous encounter between them I believe so.

I am just coming around here for the first time now since yesterday before Nigeria's encounter with Angola on the AFCON 2024 quarter finals, I was privileged to watch that game from the beginning to the end, and I am here to celebrate and congratulate my fellow Nigerians for we have qualified for the semi-finals after the super eagles beat Angola 1:0 in their clash yesterday.

I must say that the game was a very hitted one, the Nigerian players didn't find the Angolan players funny, most especially in the second half of the game, but the savior Nigeria had was that we had a good defence, the supers eagles played a very good game in the first half, scored one goal and missed a couple of others, in the second half, the Angolan team were out for super eagle, they played a good game but could not entirely penetrate out defence as well as our goalkeeper, so the missed all their opportunities to score.

Yesterday's game was a good one to watch, and I am happy to say a big congratulations to the super eagles to the Nigeria at large.

Wow... Maybe you not a die hard fan of football 😂 maybe specifically AFCON cos you should have been here to share thoughts with your Nigerian brothers like we all do in other leagues (kidding 😅). Nigeria victory was very much impressive and interesting as the Angolas had no option than to go back their country after losing to the Super Eagles. Our forward is still lagging same with our midfield but all thanks to our defense and goal keeper who helped us secure our 1 goal lead not allowing the Angolas penetrate.

The Angolians knew that their time in the tournament was over when they were drawn against the super eagles. Whatever they were showing up in that yesterday match was just as a results of the promises they got from their people back home. But the truth is super eagles deserved that winning and they needed to progress.

Due to the promises made to the Angolians I anticipated something much more different from what they played. Their performance was average which I expected to be much more tough since the promises where there to ginger them but loss with a nail to the Super Eagles.

Some how I fill that ivory coast had the hosting advantage over Mali in yesterday's encounter because Mali had a better performance and all the chances in yesterday's game and should have won that game but then I still don't really know how to explain that they lost, yesterday's game. Ivory had a red card in the first half which reduced their chances of winning the game yesterday but then they still had the hosting advantage, Mail did their best but letting ivory coast go from a goal down to equalizing with they was a weak performance on their side, after the second goal from ivory coast they had another red card but it still wasn't enough advantage still for Mali.

Nevertheless I still want to say Ivor coast did tried, they were able to get a comeback in the same second half where it seemed they were loosing and are now qualified for the semifinals, I don't think they will have it easy with Dr congo.

They seem to be emulating what Portugal did in Euro 2016, going from the best losers in the group stage to winning the Euro back in 2016. If care is not taken the same thing could happen in the AFCON 2024 because to me it seems they have the easiest opponent among the qualifiers to the semi finals and this could be an opportunity for them to win the tournament. Ivory Coast has been given an opportunity and i think they are on the right course to winning the competition, it will not be easy but it is possible. Let’s see the outcome and see if they will against Guinea.

South Africa is not an easy opponent and considering they have some sort of beef on social media amongst their fans they will want to make it difficult for themselves. At this level AFCON has now become more intense and interesting and so no team will want to lose at this stage. Nigeria can win it if they actually work hard and become more serious than how they played against Angola because Angola has been their toughest opponent so far in the competition.
