Hope am not late for any action here as I was catching up with the Asian games and game is in extra time with Australia almost winning that one but unfortunately South Korea got an equaliser to push for extra time..

Now locked in for the Nigeria-Angola game, and so far Nigeria has just taken the lead thanks to a lookman thunderbolt goal which looks like it could be what's sending them to the Semis and it's well deserved with the amount of possession they have enjoyed!!

And this being the AFCON, I wouldn't be surprised if the match ends as is (1-0) but to be on the safe side these guys need an insurance goal.

Nigeria showed a high level of seriousness in this match and they held their ground by not giving Angola any opportunity to create chances that will enable them to score the super eagles of Nigeria. It was a good game work from the front liners of the super Eagles for them to be able to break through Angola's defense and break the deadlock to take the lead.

Nigeria took possession of the game and they lost some good opportunities of finding the back of the post. Angola players tried their best, but it wasn't good enough to outperform the Super Eagles who are desperate of finding the by of the net by all means. Nigeria is very strong on their defense, and that might make it difficult for Angola to score them because Angola strikers are not that active to find a means of penetrating their opponent defense.

Nigeria are playing to expectation with a very high spirit in this game unlike how we have seen Angola held other teams they had played against in this AFCON to a stand still it is different with in this game against Nigeria. Like you said, the Nigeria defence is good nothing giving the Angola's forwards to see a space to trouble the goal post with shots. Right now Nigeria is leading with a one goal and we hope they be able to secure or get more goals as they come back to the second half.

Yeah Nigeria is playing with so much high intensity, though at the first instance of the game the angolans were really trying to make some difference. one unique thing about the Nigerian team is that they always close the gap and their defence is really solid.
Moses Simon has been one man with a lot of surprises, from his pace and  his body movement, and to cap it all, he gave the assist for lookman to score. looking at the Nigerian team every focus is majorly on victor osimhen but the angolans are forgetting that osimhen might just be a distraction, while lookman and moses simon are doing the job.

The first quaterfinal game is going to be an interesting one. Both of these team undefeated till date on the tournament and today of the team would head home. Even though Nigerian team would miss Victor Boniface, it's playing 11 still are all stars team as compared to that of Angola. And they deserve the place in semi.

Alex Iwobi have been maned the mid field so dominantly and what a great pass he delivered to Moses Simone who made the move to create that goal opportunity for Lookman, Nigeria has just best there game in this quarter finals, no question.

Now we are in 73rd minute of the game with Nigeria is still leading by 1–0 and their defense is doing impressive job even Angolan players are trying their best but sadly not able to have anything from Nigerian defense which is giving their best for this event as they are playing most chances now after few minutes we will have them into last four.

The Nigerian team has shown a great level of resilience so far. The defense and and Midfield is very solid so I don't think the Angola team has any chance of coming back in this game. If you look at this Nigeria team they hardly let goals go into their net. I am confident that the game will end in super eagles favour.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria continue to fly, as they have flown higher and qualified to the semifinals, while Angola goes home. Nigeria was able to keep a clean sheet in this match, even though in the last 20mins of the game Angola mounted pressure on them. Luck was really on the super Eagles side because Angola only chance of scoring, was denied as the ball hit the goal post. It is a good achievement for the super Eagles as they have only conceded one goal in all their matches in this competition. Lookman was the man behind this success a d he has  been contributing tirelessly to the victory of the Super Eagles. Osimhen tried today but he was unable to find the back of the net, and when he managed to do that, it was an offside and his goal was ruled out by VAR.

Despite starting slowly, Nigeria clutched the game with that Lookman goal. Prior to the match, I was weary of Angola's attack seeing that they aced past Namibia effortlessly even when they were down a man down early on in that game. But Nigeria completely controlled this game and we got the crucial win.

Osimhen is someone that I remain hopeful to always create something spectacular but, it’s often amazes me how a striker of his quality isn’t getting goals on a regular run this fixture. He ought to be netting these balls. I get the fact that, he’s got defenses built about him but, he also gets those chances too and isn’t making good use of them.

Nigeria has finally made it through and it was a good one also for them they played very well and score when necessary and I have also come to notice that this competition is really something else because the numbers of goals that have been disallowed is really alarming and I don't know what is the actual reason maybe the referee are really doing a good job or things are just mixed up. The reason am happy for Nigeria is that most treat of the competition are all gone with the likes of Egypt, Senegal, Tunisia, and Cameron all out of the picture I think Nigeria stands a great chance at Winning this.

Well i think the Super Eagles understands this phenomenon and they’re working according to it, and have  developed better to get this far, if they continue with this good form, they could lead their way to the finals.

Zaidu needs to step up his game, he was not impressive Nigeria would have scored more goals through his counter attacks.Ola Aina has been impressive but needs to be releasing ball fast to our midfielders or  attacks on time.

Nigeria put our an outstanding performance today against Angola, There were speculations before the match started that Nigeria was destined to lose, even one online prediction Lord was heightening the pressure against Nigeria team, but The Super eagles proved themselves unsurmountable tonight. Something in me validated the fact that Nigeria could lift the trophy once again if they  remain consistent with performances like this, but they need to improve their goal scoring abilities because that's where they really need improvement, I celebrate their progress and achievements tonight.

It might even be worth betting on the exact score 0-0 and 1-1.

Finally Nigeria have make it to the next stage, am really happy to see this wonderful achievement, Nigeria winning Angola was not a surprise to me because Nigeria are stronger than Angola and again Angola are distracted with the gift and promises, if really they allowed them to play with out making all such of noises at least they can perform better than this, I knew they will say they are motivating them which is good one but what if the opponent are stronger then you are forcing them to die, those promiser were thinking they want to motivate them but not knowing that they are pushing them to their easily grave, No matter what Angola can't win Nigeria with their current squad against Nigeria squad, I really salute the coach for trying his efforts to bring out best in them.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria continue to fly, as they have flown higher and qualified to the semifinals, while Angola goes home. Nigeria was able to keep a clean sheet in this match,

Yes, it was indeed an awesome game played tonight by the Super Eagles, as with our defeat against Angola, we have just qualified for the Semi-finals to play either against "Congo or Guinea" (i.e since the game just started and we are yet to have a winner), but before the next 2hours, I'm sure we should know who we to play against come 7th of February. And it will really be of more added advantage if I could see the Super Eagles of Nigeria keep on playing the good game just as they have began, because everybody believe Super Eagles can't play to the final, and it will be a great surprise if they can proof everybody wrong.

Before the last match, so many analysts came up with strategies that would give the supper Eagles a great win against the Cameroonian side with talk about the cameroonian being to strong and that if the super eagles expected a win from that match they should calm the tempo of the game as it it certain that they are not as energetic as the cameroonian players and would be at a serious disadvantage if they attempt running like them.

Well i think the Super Eagles understands this phenomenon and they’re working according to it, and have  developed better to get this far, if they continue with this good form, they could lead their way to the finals.

 You can see how compatible the defense of the Super Eagles are and you can see them always forcing the ball and giving long balls to the attackers to get the luck. Well for the match against Angola they’re playing real good as they got their goal in the first half and are now trying to control the game’s tempo. The match has ended and the Super Eagles had gotten victory and are now semi finalists. They’re doing greatly and now I see Nigeria as title contenders in this tournament and they’re a team to watch out for.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have shown a great performance today that makes everyone happy for their success, even though we know that Angola tried their possible best to see if they could throw a goal in the net, which was so hard for them (Angola). Although many people will say, Angola, we’re trying to win just to get the funds and items there were promised, but all efforts went in vain. The Super Eagles really play well, especially in defence and striking, which shows the good form of the team.

Again, a big congratulations to the Super Eagles and us, Nigerians, that we have made it to the semifinals, even though all the countries that are strong end up going home. The Super Eagles were still present in the game. I know now all hope will be put on Nigeria to win the trophy, which many people will also think the same way, but we pray for more success and luck for the Super Eagles, and they should try their possible best to maintain their performance till they can win the trophy back home.
