any good news and plans, announcments ?

how we will prevent that xbc won't dump 1000%  when hits mintpal ? Smiley

regards

Pacek

The devs really should time it so they release some new features, some marketplace stuff, or at least show more of what is being planned, before it hits MP. As otherwise, yep, I'd expect some dumping. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean a catastrophic dump, but a lot of that depends on the devs. They need to dangle carrots or add value to the coin so people hold once it gets to MP.

Another carrot could also be cryptsy voting... one big exchange is nice, but two is even better.

I think we need great announcements when the coin will be close to hits mintpal... We need to create momentum so we prevent a big pump/dump before mintpal like itc got. Seriouslycoin is silent, but im sure this guys and the others members of the devs know how market work and i believe they have plan for nexts weeks. By the way, i still vote at least 5-6 times a day, dont give up.

Been out of the loop recently since I've still got a little over 2 weeks left until I'm back in the States. Hard to contact people right now since this Chinese internet is worse than dial-up.

Seems to be a lack of activity lately, but I'm hoping it's because the other devs are getting works-in-progress together in anticipation of getting listed on MP. We'll definitely be planning around the Mintpal listing, which looks to be happening one of these next few weeks. Not many votes separate us from the top 3.

I've been unable to get a final word on the Mission Statement Paper, not sure if it's been released or not.

I wrote the draft to it and handed it over for edits and revisions, so there's at least a first draft that I'm sure of. Anyone hear of anything regarding this?

Voting does look pretty decent there. It looks like next week Monero will get the nod, so then it'll probably be Jackpot next, and assuming nobody else sneaks up, XBC would be in line for the top spot about 2.5 weeks from now.

I'm still not sure why no voting contests have been arranged yet, as that would push the coin up even faster.

Wallet Roadmap Released

We've been busy behind the scenes planning our future wallet upgrades with our new DCM collaborators. Please see below what we have planned:

  • Anon Functionality: After much research and discussion with technical experts we have identified and selected an anonymity design which we believe is suitable both for security and everyday use as an optional enhancement to our wallet (ie: it will still be possible to use the currently existing, non-anon, transactions). It is our understanding that our chosen design will provide a level of anonymity which will be more difficult to compromise than other existing anon-implementations. Further details will be released as the implementation of said technology matures.
  • Fiat conversion capability: Future versions of the wallet will add a dynamic fiat conversion system to the wallet for some of the major currencies in use (USD, EUR, etc). Such a system will make it possible for casual users to execute transactions like “I want to pay for a USD 499.99 TV" in DCM without having to resort to a calculator, making the use of our coins more practical in everyday life. The exchange rates used will be dynamically retrieved and updated through the use of APIs provided by cryptocurrency exchanges.
  • Accounting Extensions: We are planning to add accounting extensions to our wallet in an effort to make the wallet design and usage more appropriate for business use. These extensions will include the capability to define an account hierarchy and to assign transactions to an account as well as initially providing export capabilities to popular accounting software such as Quicken for the USA and Datev for Germany

We hope that our investors can see the benefits of such extensions to the usage scenarios we are aiming for: a cryptocurrency which is accepted by businesses and is suitable for everyday usage.

Great news!! I expect the price will start slowly rising until we hit number 3 in mintpal votes then it will take off. We just need to all keep mentioning and watching XBC it takes a lot to keep crypto coin users attention. And overcome the fud. So don't give up and keep at it guys we are so so close.

This is great News! It only shows that this coin is for the long haul and not your everyday P&D Altcoins.
It would be helpful  if there will be a Timeline for the said features that will be implemented for XBC, even a weekly report on where are we now on the said plans and what is needed in order to push through a great roadmap into reality Smiley

Well, it's hard to put a definitive timeline on such stuff. The anon feature, for example, is being developed but not done yet. So think of weeks, not months.

C'mon keep the mintpal votes coming.

ADN and XSI will overtake us if we don't pick up the voting pace or somebody rich pays for votes.

Could be #3 by Monday, assuming Monero gets added by then. But yeah, those coins are catching up.

I've asked several times, but maybe the devs would like to organize some MP voting contests or something similar? Now would be a good time. A big push could sneak it in past Zim the following week.

On the bright side, there's almost half as much XBC on polo's order books now from a few weeks ago, so I can only assume it means people are buying and holding. It's been slowly rising over the last few weeks, and it will go up more once we get closer to #1 on MP voting. It would be nice however to hear more updates from the dev team as we get closer to that date so that we're in solid shape for the MP launch.

Kreativekrypto

The founder of dCom who molded our team together. Kreativekrypto is known for contributing his promotional marketing expertise to numerous coin development teams. He contributes a seasoned marketing and public relations aspect to the group. Using a plethora of contacts in both the merchant and crypto world, Kreative will be part of the driving force behind the further application and adoption of dCom. With 15 years of experience in I.T., marketing, and sales his goals for this currency will set the bar very high. Kreative will be using this to pay for multiple bounties for services to the community; including the multipool immediately implemented, vendors/merchants, marketing tools and info-graphics, and community based events.

I think you should directly ask Kreativekrypto or dCOM  with regards to this issue of the thread being locked., and pls be more accurate when referring to names also. Those 2 names Seriouscoins and Wallenstein are part of the assistant team for DCM.

Whatever the name is, they both in total receive 44 btc. I've sent pm and tweet to KK and no response. Of course i go to the next one that's around.

If they receive nothing and it's volunteer work i wouldn't be here. But they got money from that coin, they can be held accountable.
