Well done all, we just hit 1200 on mintpal and position 87, we should be well into the 70s by the weekend!
I think NLG is added to other exchanges within a couple of weeks votes or no votes. The current trade patern is very positive, yesterday I expressed my concerns about the weak bottom. Now there is 1.5 BTC down to 140 and on the sell side the orders evaporated so a little ralley is very likely. If the volume is rising also, the other exchanges want a piece of the cake. Also all the shit pump and dump scam coins will die out very fast when btc prices rise, PnDs will bailout and go back into BTC/LTC and any coin that looks like it will have a future. The fact that btc price has gone up and NLG price has also gone up shows that people are starting to stand up and take notice. If the NLG team keep pushing the coin like they have a price of 450 is about right for the coin at this stage. |

PnD coins are in the same category as lotteries and casino plays. People love to take a bet and thats the reason PnD coin will survive. Only when people are tired of losing money, they abandon the PnD market. But "the human kind" is very slow in adopting things so I guess it takes at least a couple of years for them to die out. On the other hand the effort to mine those crap is increasing and at a certain point miners don't want to mine for a marginal profit. |

How about: In 2002 the Netherlands lost the Gulden, a currency which had been in circulation since 1252.

The good thing about Asic miners is that it will secure the network a lot more. The bad news is that if you have these miners pointing at your coin there intention is to dump to pay off the bills. That is also a good thing too so it keeps people selling for others to buy. You don't want a currency full of hoarders which most POS coins end up being. NLG has the perfect amount of coins imo to run as fully fledged currency and cheaper for more people to get into initially. |

Just a quick update from the team. After an awesome month with good results it can feel a bit quiet... But thats only because we are currently focusing on some important projects behind the scenes. One of those projects we can show you next week and I think you will like it. The other project is more long term, but we believe its very important for our ultimate goal, making sure people can use Guldencoin. And the way to do this is being realistic about the way merchants can accept Guldencoin. Its already very simple, but it should be the most simple payment method... But even without some big news this week I still see a lot of amazing stuff from our community. Almost every day I see good ideas here or at the guldencoinforum, there are stickers being developed, t-shirts designed, websites launched (this is so cool: http://betalenmetguldencoin.nl).
