Also on the voting page of Comkort, a new estonian exchange.
https://comkort.com/vote

Just be careful with this exchange, I had btc on coinmarket.io that I lost and was also run by a Estonian. Turned out to be a scam exchange and they stole a lot of btc and alt coins.
I don't know if the same individual has ties with this exchange but his name was Kiur Köster. Just be very weary with your btc and NLG on any of these new exchanges.
Thanks for the warning Wink

About our new website

It isn't finished. And by that we mean its never finished because we will keep updating it, with content and support topics. We will listen to your feedback and keep improving. A lot of stuff will be added in the coming weeks.

Support Rewards Program

Also we will launch our "Support Rewards Program" effective immediately. What does this mean? Every well written support article will be rewarded with 5000 NLG. Subjects could be how the mobile wallet works or how to mine. Anything that can help the community. These articles will be published on the official site with credits (or anonymous, its up to you).
And thats not all, multi language articles (dutch and english) will be rewarded an extra 1000 NLG.

Just had a look through the new website and what a major improvement , having a web design background myself I know the effort that it takes to come up with something unique and
not part of a copy and paste template outlay. The web designer is gifted as this site has been setup to expand and grow.

This also means NLG is not going anywhere imo, I finally backed a non scam alt that I am proud to keep along my btc , ltc portfolio and best of all I can use it for food right now as I live
in the Netherlands.

Hi all,
I have some news Smiley

Guldencoin seed migrations - http://guldencoinforum.com/index.php/topic,341.0.html
We're migrating some seeds. Here's why:

To start with, all seeds were hosted at the same ISP. This is (was) a vulnerability to the network. The single ISP might decide to shut down our seeds. Or it could suffer an unexpected downtime, making our seeds unreachable. Therefore we chose to move some seeds to two other ISP's (so we will have three different ISP's). The first migrations are already completed, and this evening more will follow.

Secondly, the domains pointing to the seeds were: seed1-10.guldencoin.com and seed1-5.guldencoinseeds.com. These both have the same top level domain (.com).
We chose to move away from these domains. The new seed domains use guldencoin.net, guldencoin.org and guldencoin.nl.
An updating list of the seeds can be found at https://seeds.guldencoin.com

More info about the seeds.guldencoin.com site: http://guldencoinforum.com/index.php/topic,340.0.html

Edit: old DNS names will ofcourse still forward to the new seed locations.

seeds.guldencoin.com - http://guldencoinforum.com/index.php/topic,340.0.html
Please note this post describes a work in progress.

We have created a service that monitors and reports about the "official" Guldencoin seeds.
Right now it displays:
- Seed hostnames
- Seed's latest block number and hash
- Network MH/s according to the seed
- Connection count

Please note some servers have status "unknown" because we're doing migrations and updates. Those server are alive and connected, but are not monitored yet.

The URL for the webpage is: https://seeds.guldencoin.com

Please post feedback and requests in this topic. Or contact me using PM when it's concerning confidential (security issues) information.

Features that are already on my wish-list:
- Display version of the seed software itself (not it's connections)
- Memory and load statistics
- Connection-count statistics

Really good move! Man this coin should be getting so much more attention then it is. Constant improvement and updates to the current eco system, but the rest of the community is blinded by the lastest PnD scam coins.

+1 for the seed info page.  If by chance we ever have a network issue, it's nice to see visually what the network is reporting.

Kudos to the team!

Thanks, I just read it. This coin really deserves to get some extra promotion Smiley

More on topic, it's great that you migrated the seeds. Indeed, you are only making the network better. Well done!

I have reviewed the coin and it has great potential, it's a pity I don't live in the Netherlands but I will support the coin for being real and expanding cryptos positively unlike 95% of the coins just used for trading(scamming, pump and dump etc) and die out after 1 month after getting listed on top exchanges.

Excellent news Smiley

I just saw it, with almost double as much votes as the runner-up Smiley.

In my view it's great to welcome Swisscex as exchange, but we shouldn't be listed on too many exchanges.

Yea, 2-3 decent exchanges is fine in my opinion. However we shouldn't be listed on too many exchanges, as the coin might get unpopular on a couple of exchanges then, which might harm the coin on other exchanges too.

For now it's time to get more people into this coin, and by that to attract more Merchants and to promote this coin in many ways Smiley.

This is something the team also discussed, swisscex has trust and is a reliable exchange. Getting added to swisscex also won't influence price and swisscex is not used by PnD groups at this stage.

We can keep voting for mintpal but please don't put any btc towards the voting, it's a waste, rather spend it on buying up NLG or contributing towards development of the coin, running personal promotions etc etc.

However we would like to get onto a exchange that offers USD/NLG pairing so that more international users can get there hands directly on NLG.

The goal here is for people visiting the Netherlands to be able to use NLG as a form of payment while touring or while on business trips... I said too much Wink

I still think it's important that people still vote, and vote constantly on Mintpal.

The simple fact is that there's only around 50 votes a day (or less) coming in on there, and at least 10 of them are from my account.

Between Friday afternoon and this morning, only 80 votes were added. Less than 1.5 Votes per hour.

It's obvious we're not going to get in the top 5 on Mintpal in the next few weeks anyway - but when the time comes when it's advantageous to get accepted on a bigger exchange, we certainly want to be up there with a fighting chance - not lingering behind other coins.
(heck, it would take over 3 months, with 50 votes a day, to even get in the top 20 - if no other coin voted!!!!!!)

The first step to getting noticed, is to get the name out there - be it high up on the voting rankings, or simply just replying to this thread, regularly, so it's always in the top 1 or 2 pages on the announcements pages here. All of these things cost nothing, other than a bit of our time, and perseverance.

I have to agree, I am one of the other people constantly voting on mintpal. Just to be in the top 20 will help get the coin more exposure. At one stage we were getting 70-80 votes in a day but it has dropped off again. Even still we have managed to climb the ranks and in the top 16% of coins listed now. Keep the votes coming and you will be surprised how fast we will climb.
