is there plans for including the iOS wallet in international mac app stores at a later date? would be easier for visitors to come loaded with NLG then to carry cash, already done the conversions before they left home, so they know how much they have to spend
also what about the public transport providers, like trams and trains, buy tix with NLG (especially if able to get a discount) would bring it more mainstream, lots of people use public transport and you could probably do a media campaign around it or at the stations
OV is moving away from tickets and towards OV-chipkaart. I don't think they will add a new payment method for a service they're shutting down.

There is always a way to bypass the current buy-options any service offers. We can make a service that can top-up OV cards or a place to buy 'anonymous' cards topped off in certain amounts. Only problem with topping up cards hooked to people's names and bank accounts = privacy concern because you would need to know some touchy information to be able to do that, which comes with a few laws to reckon with. BUT it is a good idea and worth looking into.
EDIT: I just checked it and it is possible to top up cards hooked to people's names. Apparently all you need is the unique card number to send money to a card to top it up.

some people don't really mind too much about privacy concerns, giving the people the possibility/opportunity is key (and makes the most sense, business wise)

The front end for the Guldencoin tier 2 project is almost complete. Just 1 more additional function to be added and we can begin testing. We also have another tier 1 project in the works, we expect both to be released in February. Let the good times roll!

I have multiple anonymous OV-chipcards in my wallet (and use cash to charge them). Would be great if you could send empty ones to some place and order there a new one (which is pre-charged). Even the intrinsic value of the card (the 7,50 euro's that you use to buy them) could be refunded, based on the remaining age of the card (expiration date is on the back). And by using the card all over the country, it will be very hard for TLS to trace the card to a person.

I know when I was living in australia they offered business that sold top up credits for (transport) smart cards a % cut of the value topped up, if they offer it over there could start up a website doing top ups, offer half of discount to customers as discount for using NLG and the other half for costs to run the site. also could work for top up credits for prepay phone vouchers, this way you offering a discount by not costing you anything <edit> telcos would be another idea You can't give people discounts. Topping up €20 the card, actually costs €20. Discounts will put you out of business real fast.

What you pay, is what you get (well, actually you get less, but nobody complains about that).

Hi everyone - hoe gaat het? (brushing up on my Dutch) I was poking around the guldencoin website today and noticed the dev-premine distribution accounting page hasn't been updated since September 16. If there have been distributions made since then, can this page and the explorer's total coins api call be updated accordingly? If no distributions have been made, then maybe add a "last updated" note to show this is still being maintained on a regular basis? page: https://distribution.guldencoin.com/#/dev-premineNot complaining. Really appreciate the transparency this provides. It's great! Couple other thoughts: Any thoughts on multi-sig in NLG? The three 50 million cold storage wallets would be good candidates for it. The android wallet has been pointing to a dead block explorer for months now.. maybe it can point to the official one instead? or otherwise just remove the functionality completely? Keep up the great work guys.
