What Nocks is doing is real, not some hype. And making something that is really useful takes time, 4 months is nothing. Enough with the 'innovative' updates just for the hype, we are building things that people will use because it's easy, fun and better.
And yes: #dowork
You guys are doing good work but Gulden lacks investors, exchanges , third party services compared to other coins. What do you think is the problem? When I look at other coins they not doing much development but get much more press and exchanges. Most of the rich dutch investors have left Gulden because of politics. Gulden is left with the common man who see great potential but have to live with a poor team and community but with good morals and trust. In time the chances will come for Gulden. This team has very good dev skills but no money. This is rubbish. I could easily pump this coin over 2000 but then the price would come back down to similar levels. Look what happened to digibyte recently. It was pumped over 400 and price is back to 35. These types of pumps do extreme damage to new investors who bought on the rise. I love how stable Guldens price has been for the last month. Lets keep it like this until real usage and buyins from the public take place. Any move in price down or up will be manipulation. I will be buying more under 400. Low prices must be celebrated. High prices must be viewed with skepticism.

I agree mostly with the above, having iOS being used at Gulden and Bitcoin merchants is a good win and users don't have to worry if merchants accept only Gulden or Bitcoin in the Netherlands. The team deserves big credit for this idea. I disagree that "4 months is nothing", if you only updating once every 4 months it works out to 10 updates every 4 years, unless you saying this quiet time for Nocks is a once off affair? Updates can include new merchants, services, business etc. Doesn't have to be development updates only. That's because you don't know what this update is all about. Ofcourse it depends on the update how long it will take. But the kind of updates we are talking about are major things, serious things, not the usual crypto hype just for the noise it makes. This is about actual use. People keep comparing use to other "coins" and while I understand that, we have nothing to do with other coins. There are no examples we want to follow, because none of the 'coins' have managed to reach the general public. Pleasing the crowd here would be easy for us, but it wouldn't get us very far as it is all about perception, not progress. I see people talking about 'rich' investors, but someone saying they are rich, doesn't always mean they are... And even if there were 'rich' investors, it wouldn't change our focus.

Were those the investors that used to post on the zone forums? No. Pijpenstelen is partially wrong. No rich investor has left. Both the blockchain and known addresses holding big amounts, do not backup what has been stated about (rich) investors leaving. They might have gone a bit more silent, but they didn't leave Gulden. Just take a look at the richlist, positions 63 to 85 for example. Those belong to just 1 investor, who is aware of politics, "politics" or whatever one would like to call it. Yet, as you can see, he obviously did not leave Gulden...

Who would sell Gulden at these prices besides investors pushing prices down to get more Gulden cheaper. Much more is being sold then is mined daily so it's traders pushing the price down which is no surprise considering btc price is at 460 USD today.

It's surprising that this coin afloat despite the huge premine**. Apparently a lot Dutchmen remember the good old Nederlandse gulden (officially until 1999) and do not know what crypto currency must be transparent and honest

EFL is not affiliated with Gulden, nor other way around. Both won't be creating forums or other products for each other.
