Well we actually have reached out to a lot of exchanges, Bter and Btc38. Many have shown interest, but one or two like Bittrex have voiced concern over listing a Counterparty asset due to certain risks that come with it (I don't know what the risks are).
They told me it's too much effort. like i said, until driveshare is released, major exchanges will not put any effort to adding storj/SJCX no matter how many times you bug them. This coin simply has no value at this time. Beginning/Ending the crowdsale was a bit premature if you ask me. No ETA on Driveshare..no timeframe. No nothing. Expected dumps until this coin is given some life...like i said, think 2months.

Storjcoin don't need exchanges now. The only thing you can do on the exchange right now is sell below the IPO price. There is no reason for the price to go up until functioning features are announced. Put your coins in a cold storage and wait for devs to make this coin work. It has a tremendous potential but in this stage it is just a token of a concept that was not yet materialized.

So you bought a vaporware ? On the official forum : http://storjtalk.org/index.php?topic=1480.0 Storj Weekly Update August 6, 2014 - We've got your 910 BTC. So generous. Thanks. - We finally started to think about writing the whitepaper. - We're still spreading hype around the vaporware. That's our main focus since the start. - Don't expect any functioning feature, we're too busy having fun with your money. Thanks again.

The funniest shit is that they still plan to hold second crowd sale .
At what price? When your first shit is not selling.

lmao this sean wilkinson (super3) dev already has a shitty reputation. dont go investing in future vaporware this guy is involved in.
oh wait..he said this is NOT an investment. lol
white paper has been pushed back for over a month. a damn white paper lol. nothing is coming out of this. this project is done. they probably realized they cant get driveshare to work as intended. watch them backpedal in the near future as to why they will have to push back the beta by 6 more months lol. the rat fur mustache man played you all. He doesn't even post here anymore since making stupid ass remarks recently.
watch the hangouts. this dev doesnt even know how to answer questions , and is so full of shit. storj investors, screwed over from day one for the remainder of 2014 lol. nothing to do but watch your sjcx value drop 80-90% soon lol
Storj dead on arrival. literally.

What I love about Storj is that even if all the usual FUCKIN' PSYCHOPATH FUDSTERS achieve driving the price down and manage to scoop up some cheap SJCX they still will NOT get early access to Driveshare!!! Now if you already have SJCX but never bothered to review what you were actually purchasing and under which terms SJCX have been distributed at this stage... SELL YOUR FUCKIN' SJCX... STFU & GTFO Edit: Nobody gives a FLYIN' FUCK if you have to sell at a loss either... We saw the storj devs in the Weekly Update. Now come the storj investor : (I don't even have to rephrase) FUCKIN' PSYCHOPATH FUDSTERS
SELL YOUR FUCKIN' SJCX... STFU & GTFO Nobody gives a FLYIN' FUCK if you have to sell at a loss either... I think I made up my mind about Storj. Thanks.

lol failed marketing, developing, planning, and most of all, fail community. notably the 'special' one, smaragda. PS: no one wants cheap SJCX. I wouldnt touch it more until it was free. The coin literally has ZERO value. Its not cheap until it cost 1 satoshi.

Btw, Dropbox now reduces the price for their pro package. Basically you can have 1TB with only $9.99 per month. Maybe you guys should calculate the effective cost again.

Close down this thread and move all meaningful conversation to the Storj forum (which is where almost everyone is anyways). 2. Create a new thread called "Storj - Speculation" that will be dedicated to speculation in the price and future of Storj.

Yeah OK... like someone was trying to convince you... I'm still following the development. The idea behind Storj has a huge potential but I believe an other team could do it better.

Hey everybody! Matt from Storj here. Our whitepaper was started around two weeks ago. The reason it's taken so long is because for the most part, it's been solely written by Shawn Wilkinson (the head dev) and he has gotten help from Vitalik Buterin (from Ethereum). You can view our new blog post here: http://blog.storj.io/post/95916767823/storj-dropboxEmail hello@storj.io if you want to take a look at the WIP whitepaper - it is pretty extensive. We're not very active on BitcoinTalk. For constant updates on the project, visit our forums ( http://storjtalk.org/), follow us on Twitter ( http://twitter.com/storj), and subscribe to our newsletter. We're quite active and the project is coming along nicely - just BitcoinTalk isn't the best place for updates.

Tell that to the ICO investors who are all at a loss since day 1. lol Again, with all due respect, we explicitly stated multiple times before and during the crowdsale that nobody should expect a profit from participating - anybody who thought they would contribute to the sale and then immediately dump for a profit chose the wrong project. The crowdsale was mainly for early access to Metadisk and DriveShare and to help us cover costs. We thank everybody who participated but still.
