Payments happen monthly.  There is a spreadsheet that is updated with farmer addresses and payout amounts posted on Rocket Chat community.storj.io

We're proud to announce that we have finished our airdrop! If you hold at least one of the Counterparty based assets listed below, YOUR WALLET maybe one of the lucky recepients. We divided the 4,600,000 KarmaToken (KTN) Airdrop fund among 9000 wallets and everyone of them received 511 KTN, IF YOU HOLD THESE ASSETS ON CRYPTO EXCHANGES, BE SURE TO ASK THEM TO CREDIT YOUR ACCOUNT! Those KTN are yours!

We will be requesting POLONIEX, BITTREX and BLEUTRADE to list KTN on their exchanges ASAP. You can also do the same personally. BTW If you have installed a Counterparty based APP, like Indiesquare and Book of Orbs, chances are some of them have received the KTN too.

At this point we have sent ALL the 4,600,000+ airdrop fund shares of the following Counterparty asset holders:

KARMATOKEN - Lucky 72 wallets, the asset group received a total of 36,792  KTN

CTGTOKENS - Lucky 21 wallets, the asset group received a total of 10,731 KTN

TOKENLY - Lucky 10 wallets, the asset group received a total of 5,110 KTN

PEPECASH -Lucky 661 wallets, the asset group received a total of 337,771 KTN

PROTOXENIUM - Lucky 58 wallets, the asset group received a total of 29,638 KTN

BITCRYSTALS - Lucky 842 wallets, the asset group received a total of 430,262

FLDC - Lucky 1,905 wallets the asset group received a total of 973,455 KTN

SJCX - Lucky  3164 wallets the asset group received a total of 1,616,804 KTN

LTBC- Lucky  2264 wallets the asset group received a total of 1,158,948 KTN

As much as possible, we avoided sending 511 to the same address holding multiple assets listed above. We  are happily human Cheesy

Congratulations once again. You now have the tokens of goodwill ambassadors! Welcome to the Good Karma Society.
Our Indiesquare wallet installation PROMO is still going on for another 100 KTN.

Just got my reward for the first two weeks for sharing my 3TB on DriveShare -  0.2293 SJCX , that's about 4600satoshis    Roll Eyes

I'm comparing this to Burst and I think it's much more profitable if you use your storage to mine Burst, that 1 tb will give much more rewards in 24 hours, and beside Burst has a good community support and potential.

I agree, BURST is more profitable.  For october  I received 25 SJCX for sharing 100 GB during 2 weeks.  The software has memory leaks ( in Beta testing!). I thnk they are at least 6 months away from anything stable and completely functional.

With Storj  the pay-out is unclear, slow and manual.  STORJ is working on micropayments but again unclear when this will be implemented.

Hello, I started in 30 Nov 16 and share 200GB. Used all 200 gb. But I not have SJCX in my wallet. I will get in December payout? I must write in community? I need 1000/10000 sjcx on my wallet for getting profit?
How much profit for 1 TB (used) if bandwith 40 mbit/s, access 23/7 and data downloaded and uploaded once?

My impression is that the storj guys have a fixed monthly  amount of SJCX used for payments and based on the number of days and GB used you receive a piece of the pie.   Basically they do not want to share the details of the calculation (although they claim STORJ is open source) and they only publish a file with the accounts and SJCX earned 2-3 weeks after month-end.  I stopped sharing my disk space and moved to BURST (daily payments).  I also tried SIA but payouts are not comparable to BURST.

Burst - useless, imho. It waste disk space on trash files, but storj waste disk space on files of users. It good project with real profit for society. But no transparency. If burst so profitability - it overpriced

Agreed, the disk space used for BURST is not usefull.  Storing thousands of cat pictures is more usefull, but a real profit for society? (they are still testing, i have my doubts if your storage is used by someone).   Just look at the BURST wallet, the tools, the pay-outs and compare this to STORJ.   If you start BURST today with 10TB space you will get payments tomorrow.  With STORJ it takes forever to use even 1 TB, payment will be mid january and not clear if you get 100, 5000 or  12  SJCX.

How can you say that? So if I upload some meaningless picture it's a waste of space? Sounds like imgur to me.

You should join the Rocket Chat at community.storj.io and hop into the #storjshare channel for help with that.  They've made two major version changes in the past couple of weeks, so there are some issues with the tools that are getting worked out.

I wouldn't know, but is there some reason you don't want to synchronize your clock?
