I wanted to test it as a farmer and a few days ago I went to the https://storj.io/share.html.

They say: "Earn money by sharing your hard drive space. Just download the Storj desktop application, and choose how much storage to share."
So I downloaded the Storj share client, selected the drive and put my counterwallet address from "My Account Balances" section.

Its been running some 24 hours now and my balance is Balance: 0 SJCX, 0 SJCT.
I expected a little tiny small digit appear somewhere as a small reward.

Why do they say "earn money" (or coins, whatever), then its clearly not true? Anyone? Any ideas?
The client says "STORJ SHARE IS RUNNING" btw:-)

Even if I had to buy 10.000 SJCX, how much SJCX will I get rewarded for each 1TB of disk space I provide to the network?

PS: Are there any providers that actually works now?
Thanks,
Su100

Even if you had 10K sjcx in the wallet, you would probably get much less than 100 coins per TB.. per month..

How's development/testing going? Is there a place beside slack where I can get informations from?

You can send your coin to a generic BTC address. Then to manage funds you can use counterwallet.io (you'll need to import the privkey of the BTC address)

Just found out that you no longer need 19K sjcx coins in the wallet to get rewards from sharing storage.

Thought you should know..

Storj was getting pumped by about 20% today. Any news I have missed or is it just someone playing a pump and dump game again?

Please be advised that you should not choose a poloniex address as your payout address. You do not have control of that address as you don´t hold its private key. Use a counterwallet address instead. For help with sorting out why you have not yet received any shards in your selected folder, please join the slack where you can get interactive help from other community members and the devs. From looking at your screenshot, I see you´re using the GUI. Please note that some fixes have not yet been applied to the current version of the GUI. Latest fixes are already available on the CLI. So you can either wait for the next GUI version to come out or go to the slack athttps://storj.io/community.html and get help to install the CLI.

Please try again now. Last night I was also experiencing some troubles accessing the signup page. I hope it was an intermittent failure. If not please report back and I will bring it to the attention of the devs.

Please stand by, apparently we have hit the cap on number of users on slack (above 5000 users now) so hopefully we can get that cap lifted asap.
