Migration from Counterparty to EthereumCongratulations to Storj Team for having the balls, vision and pragmatism in order to take the necessary action (with the right timming) and shift to Ethereum's network. Storj is one of the most pragmatic crypto-projects out there backed by people that really has a real business view - and that is really good for all stakeholders. Counterparty is suffering from slow updates/development and (indirectly) from the neverending Bitcoin's Block Size "Civil War". Unfortunately Storj was linked to that problems too. I'm really glad we still have good professionals (in "cryptoland") that knows how to run a business efficiently.

Can anyone please tell me, what value the coin got. I cant find really easy details about the coin from amount to rewards.
But also why people need the coin, inflation etc.
Oks so i see it has an inflation of 10x this coin amount.

You need the coin to store files on the network Sounds logical, i just wonder will those tokens be burned or go to the miners ? Cause there is an inflation of 10x is this right ? |

People have to keep their computer on 24/7. what if that person shuts their system down? Are there many copies of the encrypted pieces so if one person shuts down you can still access your data?

no one has this answer? don't have to keep your computer on 24/7, but the more it's online - the more contracts & rewards you get there are many copies, so if one (I think even more) person down you still can access the data |

I'm really disappointed to see this move to ethereum, the over complication of the solidity language was enough to make me to drop ethereum. I don't think it's good enough to support important platforms like storj.  |

If by some chance those five do not the turn on their computer I won't be able access my files We can detect when one of those contacts goes offline, and then we replicate from the existing pieces. Since the migration has not happened yet you don't have to worry. They will be transferred 1:1 when the migration happens. |
