Its hot enough here in Atlanta, I don't want to go any further south. I'm not hiding anywhere. I'll be at Cryptolina next weekend.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Just developing the software is not enough, we need to seed it with resources as well. So the leftover coins will distributed via early farming only to crowdsale participants, as well as crowdsales for applications running on Storj.

There is no mining. So we seed the network by buying everyones space to distribute the coins.

So I am not a miner or farmer or what else.
So if I buy some storj, I can´t get my part of the leftover coins, right?

We set a high goal so we would have coins left over to distribute the crowdsale participants in early farming, and future crowdsales.

What kind of reassurances has Storj's dev made or will make that the Storj ICO wont turn out the way Syscoin's did and that he will indeed underpromise/overdeliver?
