“No matter how great the talent or efforts, some things just take time. You can't produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant.”, Warren Buffett
I hope people are smart enough to not dump their coins for next to nothing. You are giving away your opportunity as well as your money to someone who understands their investment. Whitecoin still has a long road ahead of it but for the people on board for the long run (especially the top 100 holders) will see their efforts pay off tremendously.

There's enough in the works, i have long term confidence in WC. With a community, things just move a little slower sometimes. Should see plenty of media updates this week, and hopefully some more big news can be released soon

Can someone explain to me why a anon feature is so important to have on every single alt coin?
Surely if you want to do something dodgey you can use bitcoin shared send or other well known mixing methods.

We had our Chief Technology Officer look into the possibility of adding an anon feature to whitecoin and he determined two things: 1. The vast majority of anon features do not work and have central points of failure (IE, a central point where identifying information is processed) 2. Adding an anon feature to whitecoin specifically would not be a good thing for our blockchain. That's not to say we won't ever consider doing something like an anon feature, simple that we won't be doing a 2 day copypaste update if we do it.

At this point, plenty of coins will be adopting anon, and then...? Its a great feature and it has a purpose for sure in a portion of the market place. Its worth discussing more, but not just at the level of "do it so price rise." I'd like to see a fundamental discussion on how to create anon without a choke point. Or quite possibly, newer features, or implimentation that will increase WC adoption. Like open source merchant tools, or something.

Statement regarding the logo contest
Hello WhiteCoiners!
What an amazingly successful logo contest. Not only we were spoiled for choice with over 30 submissions, but we also raised more for the foundation in 8 days than we had in the previous six weeks, a total of 451,329 WC were donated as votes. Or nearly .6 BTC at current prices.
This says something special about WhiteCoin
While other coins have been paying through bounties or prize oriented contests, WhiteCoin set itself apart by demonstrating that we are a real community devoted to the success of this coin beyond simple day to day profit. Over 30 submissions, with an estimate of 1000 labor hours were put into this rebranding initiative.
And not one submitter demanded pay. Not one.
WhiteCoin has singled itself out as a community that understands we aren't based on hype, our foundation as a community is hard work and a long term plan.
I'd like to offer a special thank you to each of our entrants, while there could only be one winner, we believe each of you has stood out as very important forces in this community. We hope to take the talent that has emerged here and create a paid graphics design team.
We invite all submitters from the contest to join us in #wc-pr as we refine and finalize our rebranding process over the next week.
Now to the fun stuff!
With our rebranding concept now official, we begin the hard work of rolling this out to our many outlets and services. A new wallet update will be coming very soon, along with major updates to whitecoinfoundation.org.
And more news will be coming out this week providing updates about The WhiteCoin Foundation Paper, as well the process for our registration as an association, and the announcement of a special bounty list for the expansion of even more services.
That's right whitecoiners, not only did this contest get us a new brand and show how well we work as a community, but it will also pay games, services, and new platforms for our wallets.
Best regards,
Mogonzo

That's a top priority for us. Right now the current colour scheme doesn't match with the new logo, so I'm looking at a short term fix that won't make the OP look ugly again. We will also be issuing a new graphics bounty list today!

I know its bad, but I never get tired of these random, dumb comments. I can always tell the author has a sincere interest/question. And I do appreciate you stopping by, though, if you say someone is smoking crack because they disagree with your opinion, don't apologize for it. Say it with pride! You're all smoking Crack! But, we don't care. Too busy focusing on our efforts ahead. When we hear from you soon: Then should our coin value rise, you can say, "i was only kidding, see" and if our price should falter "See, I told you." But please, if you have true technical, analytical, or a better informed position, please share it.
