First of all happy birthday diamond!
I'm running the new wallet on the qnap nas and it's all right.
The quick index is very welcome on such a slow device.
Danbi if you could add the "boost::" in front of random() in main.cpp I'd avoid stashing on every git pull.
Thanks diamond people for the continued support, updates and care! :-)

Do we have a working dripping coin faucet yet?  http://altcoinix.com
I'll contribute 1 DMD to faucet if we get one going Smiley

The more public exposure we get the better IMO so let's get going people.

Happy birthday to the entire community, now we need a good Diamond promotion.

Would be appreciated if someone could help us compile a list of reputable news outlets we could contact to ask them to write an article on Diamond.
If you know anyone who is good at passing information around just drop him/her a line about Diamond. Most of the time it's as simple as that.
Diamond's birthday with the update is good and fresh and worthy news Smiley

Look at MintPal voting, we are climbing at great pace all the time, because there are people who whenever remember or have some time, click on the Vote button.
Simple action can yield great results. https://www.mintpal.com/voting#DMD

Hi John,

You do need at least 5 trades to vote, so you may need to do a few more for it.

Well as I mentioned to Cryptonit, when I bought the 750 Ti I totally omitted they were Nvidia... I can't make them run on my running rig as all other GPUs are AMD. I am trying to sell all of my 280x so that I can replace them with 750 Ti.
What are you asking for 280x, I find them good on X11, X13 Smiley

Yes they are good for other algos indeed. I just don't see many other coins out there that are worth my attention at the moment.

The cards are fairly new dating from late March of this year. So they have been running for only around 3 month or so. I am located in Thailand so shipping might actually make them not so cheap if sent around the world. I would need to check before though with the post office.

Thanks for your support utahjohn!  I am really proud of the team and the community we are building! Smiley
A bit off topic but Diamond has also been contacted by 24/7 crypto news and will be featured in an article soon Smiley
We are the leader in groestl algo coins Smiley  And working to get listed on Mintpal (Many of us are unhappy with cryptsy) ...

I suggest that website be completed asap if we are to be reviewed by news article(s) Smiley

The new wallet works perfectly fine. I have some questions though about some parameters.

What's the difference between the Stakepower element in getmininginfo and the Minting weight/Network weight in the mini-stats tooltip? And is the weight in mini-stats somehow linked to coinage or is it just a number?

When you activate Coin Control there is a column named Priority. What does this mean? Is it linked in some way to minting, so that for example the coins with high priority has already been minted, or are they about to be minted? Or does priority mean something else?

The stakepower element is essentially the sum of coin age of all eligible coins (amounts).

The weight wallues are ...  just numbers. Used in order to create reasonable comparison. We might adjust these numbers in future.

The Priority column in coin control is related to coin age. Older coins have higher priority. The code is from bitcoin and the concept is that you might have to pay fee for newer coins. So the original theory is the higher priority ask for less fees. This is it true for Diamond. In our case you should consider priority as an measure of the chance of the coins to stake. We have some more work to do here, especially the tool tips information, which is sometimes confusing. For example it talks about 0.01 fees, while ours are 0.001.

Thank you Pokeytex for the info. Highly appreciated! If you don't mind me asking... What brand/model are they? And, in your opinion, do your cards have good overclock capabilities?

Thanks Danbi for your answer. That clarifies things for me. Just a follow-up question. Is the stakepower element measured in blocks then, or something else?
