I would like to request a really simple wallet update, Add a little display box in the corner displaying current diff, next diff and net hashrate. I know these can be found elsewhere but there is such a lot of wasted space in the UI it would be great to be able to glance and see it all. Would donate some DMD if needed. ps there is also a bug in the display if you hover over the green tick, it sometimes displays the wrong difficulty -see screenie (actual diff was 106.xx)

a whole UI rework is in work we wont invest in any old ui updates and focus on new one but we add ur feedback to the wishlist for the statistics tab in new wallet

there is also a bug in the display if you hover over the green tick, it sometimes displays the wrong difficulty -see screenie (actual diff was 106.xx) no bug correct behavior it show the diff of last block no matter if POW or POS if u see a low diff like in urs screenshot it was a POS block in console the command getdifficulty show u actual POW/POS difficulty

I take your point, but difficulty isnt just for miners, if we see it going up it's a good thing because interest! Idally the wallet should be 'skinnable' where all the info you wanted could be dragged and dropped onto it. At the moment its a bit clunky! Also thats for your hard work and effort, if you ever come to England I'll buy you a pint or 7. yw regarding ur original question i did think a bit more and in my opinion its a specific information that only is interesting for miners the information is visible at any mining pool or via console command its no information interesting for mainstream wallet users (there is a lot POS related info every owner of DMD would see much more than POW infos because everyone who own DMD is a POS minter....) i know its hard to believe but more and more the majority of cryptocoin wallet users isnt active miners we leave that stage of crypto its the same as with gold so many people care for gold but just a tiny little bit of them care about where and how it is mined what are the best mining engines how hard the stone is and if its to expect the stone after that one will be even harder.... i think a little tool sending api commands to wallet and read and display information that fit ur needs is the better solution and everyone is free to create such tools when we run out of other work to do we could think about do it ourself but for now we have so many projects going on that give value to more than just the miner crowd

does lock and unlock for minting have the same effect as a restart of wallet? its possible there are just a few triggers for update like go in mint mode and after mint a block for more detailed answers we need danbi over all this weight and estimated time is far off take the values he tell ya as a very rough estimate if he tell ya 6 days u know u wont most likely not mint soon if he tell ya 1 hour u know that if ya keep wallet open a day u will most likely mint one or a few blocks

Any chance you can advise on setting up a local stratum, mining direct to wallet and im getting a lot of 'not providing work fast enough'. Will donate DMD for the help.
