Did anybody gets payout from http://extremepool.org/ ?

I think so, yesterday. Blocks are flying left and right on there so we'll see some time soon Smiley

I know pool mining is still very fresh but would be nice to get access to some better stats.

Seriously, these pools are just all the same. There needs to be a update to improve stats.

Did anybody gets payout from http://extremepool.org/ ?

There was a block 9 minutes ago and I didn't get paid. Don't know what's going on either myself.

It took some time on moneropool.org. 30 - 60 mins maybe?

Guess wait and see. I'll mine 24 hours and see what's up.

Really was the same for me the last two days. Mining, nothing happening, block found, not getting paid, worrying, spreading fud. All of a sudden payout comes around, feeling stupid.

Guess the network isn't that fast. Maybe when a gpu miner comes out, that will speed transactions up.

Same for me, second block found and still not paid. Looking for another coin, I don't like being scammed.

Always that fear from unknown pools. No one likes being scammed.

Can anyone explain me why would anyone invest in this currency instead of Darkcoin, Zerocash, Anoncoin, Fantomcoin or Quazarcoin??
Darkcoin is going to implement bytecoin's technology afaik so..

Are the exchanges or blockchain having problems?

I made two test deposits:  Polo has been stuck at 6 of 18 confirms for nearly an hour now, and a deposit also hasn't shown up at exchange.to after two and a half hours.

But Darkcoin has more features than Monero right? And evan seems like a legit developer, so I dont see the problem.
Once an anon coin makes it as #1 anon coin then it's pretty much over IMO.

I think i bought a few hundreds from you at the lowest point! Smiley Well you dont seem to understand that the coin is solid! I consider them so underpriced that i am afraid to daytrade! It only needs a GUI to come out for the price to double again...

Yes, I know, but Monero is a Bytecoin clone. Thats my worry. Why invest in Monero when it depends on Bytecoin's devs basically.

Monero is turning into the number 1 hedge for Darkcoin due to complimentary but alternative 'dark' technology.

Looking at block explorer, current supply seems to be around 800,000. i.e. less than a fifth of Darkcoin's.

So Monero going to at least a tenth of Darkcoin's price seems reasonable. That would put it at around:

(0.015 / 10) x 5 (Coin supply factor) = 0.0075  (750,000 Satoshis) and still only 10% of DRK. It's currently trading at 175,0000, so that would give it a 420% price increase from here.

I am a DRK investor, buy you monero people better wisen up. Your coin may be going to the moon as well (well, at least one somewhere in the orbit of Darkcoin's moon). It's not in competition with Darkcoin, it's complimentary.

Yes, I know, but Monero is a Bytecoin clone. Thats my worry. Why invest in Monero when it depends on Bytecoin's devs basically.

Take a look at the githubs. Monero devs are doing a more useful work now than the bytecoin devs are. It was the Monero devs who sped up mining by a factor of 10 and have made other important fixes.

The Monero community is now larger and more active than the Bytecoin community. That will continue to attract and motivate great developers to work on this project.

It was was the Monero community that put together the bounty for an open source pool and open source miner. We also have a prototype GIU wallet. Bytecoin never did that.

Nobody even knows who the bytecoin devs are. For all we know they are busy cashing out their 140 billion premined bytecoins and have essentially abandoned the project, or just keeping up the pretense of working on it to support the price while they cash out. Monero has no premine. No one is cashing out. The only way the developers get anything out of this project is to build it along with the community.

Do not judge Monero on the basis of comparison with Bytecoin. Judge it on what we have accomplished and continue to accomplish.

It is certainly false that we are dependant on the bytecoin developers. If we were, I'd be very worried. Fortunately we are not.

Very inflammatory post here. You seem to be doing here exactly what trolls in DRK thread do on a regular basis, i.e, come off as harmless inquisitor while the ulterior motive is clear for everyone to see. Do your homework and invest in whatever you feel works for you.
