Yeah but it is realistic to expect what, 1 block per week or much less? In addition, what is the wallet file we should be saving if we happen to change wallet address or something like that?

 Smiley

maybe the next step should be to add it on coinmarketcap - or do you think it is too early?

it's too early but exposure is always good. trollbox is going nuts for monero.

I think it is good to get it on coinmarketcap because the visibility is much higher there.

my reference project for a perfect project is counterparty (not for price development Cheesy but all the rest), it was very early on coinmarketcap - it was much harder to set up and use counterparty that days than it is today for monero.

Your "balance" is how much you have, but you're looking at your "unlocked balance" (which is how much you can spend at the moment). The locked MRO should be unlocked after a few blocks.

Their payouts are clogged up (probably because they found an orphan). You should be paid when the pool admin fixes the problem.

So why do you keep mining at it ? Masochist ?

Try http://monero.crypto-pool.fr/ next time.

Is it best to solo mine or, if not, which is a reliable pool?

Seems cpuminer-multi still has some problems with the pools available.

It starts hashing fine but after diff is raised to 10000 by the pool all shares are being rejected.
Any way to mine with an static diff  Huh

I recommend solo mining at this point. None of the pools are that reliable.

Solo mining provides the maximum value to the network by running a node and decentralizing control away from pools (even if other people do use them). Solo miners are the true heros of any coin.

The down side is that you need to be extremely patient and not have unrealistic expectations of getting coins on a consistent basis (or with a low hash rate, ever). If you view it as providing a service to the network and look at any coins you do get as nice prize or bonus, you will enjoy solo mining. If you check every 15 minutes to see if you got some coins, you will find solo mining very frustrating.

Your pool is going to have the same problems, and so is mine. You just haven't found an orphaned block yet.

Are you getting those stats from a pool? The pool stats can be WAY off, because sometimes cpuminer submits the same share many times. That's also why all the pools' hashrates fluctuate so much.

A stratum pool is being worked on, so all of these bugs will be worked out soon.
