This may be due to the wallet locking. Can you check the wallet lock time on the Settings page?

The bug affects the accounting software of the wallet, not the protocol (and thus not the coin supply). As far as I know, no exchange got exploited. See:

i set wallet lock time 60 min and usually the wallet simply asks for the password again and does not turn into a white rectangle

Welcome, but I would advise against keeping all your eggs in one basket (even though thats pretty much what i have done).

I wish that scam exchange would remove it. You can't withdraw so its just a ripoff with an attractive price. it needs to be removed from all exchange listing sites.

What operating system? This can happen if palette on vid card runs out of memory on windows systems (more commonly) with any program so that may be your issue. Usually you would have to refresh the program if it has that ability(most don't) or close and reopen. One way is to resize or move windows around screen by keyboard shortcut, so you may want to give that a try if you do not want to shutdown and restart gui. Also this can be a symptom of a sketchy Overclock.

Maybe AMD drivers are to blame, they have never been 100% stable, but .. but 2D mode, Karl, and a lot of memory ..

Thank's for the link, i like Andreas, but he still is linked to BTC very strongly and i never heard him talking about other cryptos in a good sense 

He also never talked bad about Monero and he talked bad about BTC (regarding its privacy futures). You know that it's best to never mention that you have Monero for it to work best. (Have maximum annonimity/privacy)

But I think it's better that Andreas only talks about bitcoin. He doesn't lose credibility and he still does a lot for the whole crypto ecosystem probably as most as possible.
