Somehow the emphasis seems to be on the negative aspects of a hard fork, instead of the good things it brings.
You could have been reading a little and tell at least about the privacy upgrades and the new mining algo.
Also I would not be so sure about the date, since there are still possible bugs to fix.

Maybe you can update that post at coinradar?

Something seems off with the 0.14.1.2 linux cli-only release...

bunzip2: monero-linux-x64-v0.14.1.2.tar.bz2 is not a bzip2 file.

AND

tar -xjf monero-linux-x64-v0.14.1.2.tar.bz2
bzip2: (stdin) is not a bzip2 file.
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

Same with a fresh download.  And sha256sum comes back correctly too.

This is a known issue, it will be fixed in the upcoming v0.15 release. See:

Monero and Dash are decentralized cryptocurrencies. Why Monero is better then Dash?
I will not tell you why Monero is better, but I will say why Dash is worse. Dash has a premine of about 80%, a less fair distribution of coins than Monero. Monero is true, Dash is shit. Smiley
I don’t know any info about pre-mine conditions, but Monero is using in Darknet, is it good?
Bitcoin is also using in darknet, so what? Smiley

AFA the hash drawdown, that has been intentional and expected!

It's been to fork off the ASICS.
I respect Monero for this. Zec surrendered without a fight and this is a shame.
I’m not sure that Monero can win this war with Asics, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t even have to try.

I don't think it will be a problem as it was said about darknet, maybe they chose crypto because it is anonymous, Darknet site in my opinion is not a public site although I don't know there is something in it. for the dash problem on the site in my opinion is not a thing that must be discussed widely

There is no problem discussing it, It is well known that there many use cases for fungible assets and Dark markets are certainly one of them. In reality you have to take the good with the bad. Having the power to decide what amount of privacy is required for security should be every persons right.

as long as transactions is untracesable nothing is bad. dont be  affraid about dark net .

There's no need to worry about since it is untraceable and as you know that darknet are using privacy coins since it cannot be traced and check the balance.

And they even use bitcoin but more likely privacy coins.  Just don't make a mistake on providing any information and use TOR connection with VPN.

Here is a Guide for Mining XMR wish I still had my old CPUs  Undecided

How to Mine Monero?

Mining Monero can be a lucrative undertaking due to its cryptographic algorithm which is immune to ASIC’s mining. This indicates that anyone with a CPU or GPU can mine Monero. This guide will tell you what software programs you require, and how to mine Monero.

It's gonna be Carbon, followed by a word representing a celestial object. Not sure if it was fully decided, but there were some people discussing it on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/d7twle/tentative_monero_015_release_schedule/

They're running around spamming that project. Funny. I used to work for one of the big game companies and I laugh every time I see game stuff in the crypto space. There's no way we would ever have used something like this under the control of some other group. And when I look at that site? I see a project that will die. The "roadmap" is a joke written by "kids" effectively by people that just have no idea what it takes to build a real business let alone a game development company. Will be entertaining to watch though.

You should have not quoted that. Now, even if it's reported and may get deleted, the link will prevail in this thread. Twice, since you also got quoted  Cheesy
I use the report link; it usually does the job.

I don’t know any info about pre-mine conditions

That is because Dash was never premined, anyone claiming Dash was premined (mined before public launch) has been lying straight to your face.
Or they dont know what premine means... which makes them kinda a noob.

Good thing coinmarketcap does make a clear distinction between cryptocurrencies that have been premined and those that have not.
So you can verify this for yourself.

I agree. Technically, I think, Dash was ninja instamined.

Nah, just instamined .. just like Monero with their crippled miner software (although Monero was affected in a much lesser degree).
Or just like how Satishi mined 1 million Bitcoin early on. These can all be seen as examples of an instamine / fastmine.
With regards to Dash, the instamine is between 10 and 15% of total Dash supply that will ever be issued
(1.86MM Dash first 24h, ~2.02MM Dash first 48h).

Link : https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OC/pages/19759164/Dash+Instamine+Issue+Clarification

Premine on the other hand is different. Its about the mining or creation of a number of crypto coins,
before the cryptocurrency is launched to the public. Its far more specific.
