Monero and Dash are decentralized cryptocurrencies. Why Monero is better then Dash?
I will not tell you why Monero is better, but I will say why Dash is worse. Dash has a premine of about 80%, a less fair distribution of coins than Monero. Monero is true, Dash is shit. Smiley
I don’t know any info about pre-mine conditions

That is because Dash was never premined, anyone claiming Dash was premined (mined before public launch) has been lying straight to your face.
Or they dont know what premine means... which makes them kinda a noob.

Good thing coinmarketcap does make a clear distinction between cryptocurrencies that have been premined and those that have not.
So you can verify this for yourself.

I agree. Technically, I think, Dash was ninja instamined.

Nah, just instamined .. just like Monero with their crippled miner software (although Monero was affected in a much lesser degree).
Or just like how Satishi mined 1 million Bitcoin early on. These can all be seen as examples of an instamine / fastmine.
With regards to Dash, the instamine is between 10 and 15% of total Dash supply that will ever be issued
(1.86MM Dash first 24h, ~2.02MM Dash first 48h).

Link : https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OC/pages/19759164/Dash+Instamine+Issue+Clarification

Premine on the other hand is different. Its about the mining or creation of a number of crypto coins,
before the cryptocurrency is launched to the public. Its far more specific.

I couldn't be bothered to archive it. It's edited now.

I recently bought this new gaming PRE-ICO doesnt  require KYC
check it out link

They're running around spamming that project. Funny. I used to work for one of the big game companies and I laugh every time I see game stuff in the crypto space. There's no way we would ever have used something like this under the control of some other group. And when I look at that site? I see a project that will die. The "roadmap" is a joke written by "kids" effectively by people that just have no idea what it takes to build a real business let alone a game development company. Will be entertaining to watch though.

OK, he's a shill for a game.

Weird place to spam, thx for the clarification have a +sM. Smiley

Dash was Ninja-Mined after Evan told all of us to shut down our rigs and there would be a relaunch. He lied to us and that is the same as an insta or pre-mine so stop trying to rewrite history. I was there, He's a Piece of Shit Scammer.

Evans deciept with his Ninja Mining is nothing like Monero's cripple mining issue.

Monero's cripple miner was inherited from a forked codebase and was not Premeditated also it was a very small portion of coins V/S Evans Scamcoin that not only was massive but he changed the Code to increase the value by lowering the block reward amount after he got his stolen coins!!!

Evan Duffield is a thief.

Among top altcoins, Monero is one of the most less fluctuating ones over recent weeks, despite of massive rallies for altcoins. I decided to invest in Monero last 5 days, and it seems my decision is right. Unfortunately, I still hesitated a little and only invested one-third of the capital that I wanted to spend for Monero, because I hoped the coin would have fallen down a little lower.

Anyway, today is a very good day for Monero, congratulate to Monero investors.

What are the block number and the expected date for the randomx fork? Is there a site where I could follow a countdown?

Mining with Xeon cpu, could I expect a decrease in mining hashrate after the randomx fork or an increase?

Actual network hashrate is about 300-330 mh/s... I remember that before last algorithm change it was more than 600 mh/s.. looking at those numbers I don't think there are asics already back on the network.... Are there?

Thank you.

The coming days will be important for Monero and its investors. Of course, it is not the end of the world if something unexpected happen next days, but people tend temporarily react negatively when things go opposite with what they do expect.
Fortunately, things will be changed when all things upgrade as expected and go back on right directions, as planned.
I think Monero has good chance to rally significantly till the end of this year.

According to the last listing on BTSE (shame but it is still not aviable for US citizens).https://twitter.com/btsecom/status/1186344898640916480 I think that Monero`s prospects are pretty optimistic for the next month at least.
