One question for the dev though.
I was here on launch day, and it said it would be two POW stages, each giving approx 50 mil coins.
Due to the mixed POS/POW phase from start, it resulted in about 30 mil coins first stage instead right?
And as I see now, the second stage will give half reward instead, so making the grand total of coins about 45-46mil at the end of the second POW/POS stage right?
My main question and point is. The premine was accounted for that it would be total 100mil coins, but now that's not true anymore and the % is actually higher than it states correct?
Follow-up question: How much remains of the premine, and will the result of the higher % in total mean that you'll give out more in bounties than you first decided?

Yes the percentage is now higher than it states & 400k have been distributed on the premine already; We're trying as much as possible to make the premine last for a long time so we pay a lot in bitcoins or $ instead of using the premine (occulus rift & co) and of course never sell any silkcoin on exchanges. The premine is here to fund Silkcoin for a long time, the inside team (me and the devs) are not allowed to touch it, but on the other hand we may give out bounties also to the marketers (as I told you earlier we're all working together on a task management software). Regarding bounties most of the time it depends on the work done and price of silkcoin because each work is very different but we try to give out a bounty to every single person who helps SC  , there's a LOT of ways to help and I think most people can testify the bounty they got was pretty decent. A big part is distributed via giveaways also (Mintpal giveaway is the biggest in date, and not finished yet) and there's a lot more to come. The point of this premine is to support Silkcoin on the long run. And we'll try to make an allocation list soon (everything is labeled in the premine wallet) but we didn't take the time for that yet since we don't consider this as primordial since an allocation list doesn't prove anything (its very easy to cheat), on the other hand constant distribution and non-stop work will prove our dedication. And to answer the last question yes there will be a multipool, we're currently working on that  . Thank you for the quick answer. On the exchange front, two distinct walls are forming, one buy wall at 3100 Satoshis and a sell wall at 3700 Satoshis. The market is currently in a stand-still moving between these walls. On another note a large portion of sell walls have been removed, at this point we only need 17 BTC to get to 5000 Satoshis, see the depth chart below. It could be an attempt to manipulate the price, given the fact that there are only 900 000 worth of SC sell orders currently on Poloniex, or it could be sellers hoarding coins.  |

I am running windows 7 and google chrome, is it normal to get this warning when downloading silk wallet? also, I am really interested in silk, but there is literally only one thing that is holding me back from buying 50,000 sc... the premine. I do not have any intentions of fudding or talking negatively about silkcoin, let me be clear, I think this coin is awesome and the wallet looks sick. My bet is everyone else is too. I see this as a 20mil market cap coin. I dont see why anyone would sell at this point other then to move the market up. |

With regards to the best time to buy in, there are a lot of variables that could affect the price, most notably the number of coins that ends up being mined by multipools. So no one can really give an accurate estimate as to when the best time to buy is. In my opinion I think you should buy 50%, now before the 2nd PoW phase and 50% during the 2nd PoW phase, that way you limit your losses if the price goes either up or down. With regards, to the pre-mine, generally we try to pay with our own funds rather than using the pre-mine. The pre-mine has only so far been used to pay for bounties in some of our ventures, such as the Shock & Awe campaign, and the Oculus Rift competition. |

Any publicity is good publicity if the coin checks out, and it checks out with me. Let the trolls talk they are actually helping with publicity and they don't even know it.
The premine. Drk had a huge premine/instamine. Did it stop investors from buying? (I pass judgement with my wallet and Im looking to continue buying).
I hope ppl are right about the 2nd pow having a price drop. I sold and im regretting it, I have a problem with selling too soon.
