I can vouch for KingCoiny, these guys are a trustworthy exchange. I've followed their development progress for a few months now via Dribble.

Any publicity is good publicity if the coin checks out, and it checks out with me. Let the trolls talk they are actually helping with publicity and they don't even know it.
The premine. Drk had a huge premine/instamine. Did it stop investors from buying? (I pass judgement with my wallet and Im looking to continue buying).
I hope ppl are right about the 2nd pow having a price drop. I sold and im regretting it, I have a problem with selling too soon.
Get your facts straight - DarkCoin had zero premine. It was also only CPU mineable at launch so that instamine you are talking about would have been distributed among many miners. Fact is premines don't bode well for a coin long-term. Check out the successful coins on MintPal and see which ones have premines. I'm not bashing SilkCoin here, it looks like a decent coin, but premines do turn off many investors. Your correct, DRK had Zero premine but 50% INSTAMINE, which was intended by the developers, only linux machines could mine without the windows QT wallet, since the coin is anonymous, how is there any way to tell what addresses are held by the devs and/or their friends?

Ehh. Sounds like the same problems with many coins release, it's not necessarily a dev scam. The windows wallet is harder to build. The linux wallet (on Ubuntu) should be a 5-minute process. I imagine most serious miners know this and build on linux and mine against that daemon. I'm not even serious and I do. I'm not holding any DRK nor do I care. Just stating some facts here.

Right click and Run as Administrator. If it still crashes let us know. This must have been my mistake. I re-downloaded and extracted in to a clean directory and no problem. Thanks for the quick reply!

I have however always liked Silkcoin. I'm glad I doubled up under 2k.

In the trollbox : JudgeCrypto: Seriously about Silk Coin... I think they will be competing with Facebook and twitter what are their market caps? @JudgeCrypto : You dont do any good to Silkcoin of you "lie" in a trollbox as if you were a noob at SC. Seriously, I know you want SC to succeed, but fake hype is a dangerous signal of pump and dump - and as we know you have many SC, I a little bit concerned to read that kind of comment in the trollbox. You could do better right ? Thanks

I just hope it doesnt become a bubble like blackcoin did, fast spike to 88cents and then a big drop.

If the devs use the blockchain for social media uses and create a mechanism to use unique user names and a built in website to facilitate messages and posts that is a direct competition to Facebook and Twitter... It is a social media use that has no censors... It will be huge.... watch... Judge Crypto EDIT: Has anyone actually READ the Devs vision and see where this is going? This is NOT about some cheap marketplace... this is about SOCIAL MEDIA and it WILL be HUGE.... I have already connected the dots...

BC was pumped to 22m market cap and dumped to 6m... 2weeks abgo again was pumped to 22m market cap BC wasn't 88 cents. (90 000 sat was when BTC wasss in deepths ~400$) If SC will be pumped to 0.1 BC market cap it will have big success : ). And one thing in crypto ALL alts are PnD... Look LTC 53$ in december today 10$... BTC 1200$ today 650$... NXT 16000sat today 9800sat... All coins are PnD you need deal with that. Some are more stable some not.
