Can you upload again the file? It looks like a zip file, with "encrypt" option enabled on "windows" and obviously cannot be used on Mac

I'm confused. Is MsCollec remaining as the developer or has someone taken over?
We are working in close co-operation. She has put a lot of effort to this coin, and is important part of this, don't FUD her out! I have not been in this from the beginning, just came to fix some problems. I hope you understand that these fixes on a live coin are risky, so there might still be problems after fork. But if there are problems, they will be fixed again, until it works. MsCollec needs to respond to legitimate concerns in a timely manner in future. *just saying* thanks for helping out Nite69 - i'm recompiling the wallet on my node now.

hoots mon. The dev hasn't disappeared, he was posting just last night and it is a weekday. Just relax, I am sure they are working on it and will roll out an update soon. Probably this weekend.
Oh don't worry, I've checked their post history before I commented. The silence is worrying. If this was my coin, I would be on here every working hour putting out fires and building a community, but that's me. The price has plummeted and the coin is becoming more centralized. Therefore, the value just won't get to where people are hoping it will, as large bag-holders will dump as soon as it hits a decent figure. Distribution is key to any crypto-currency. We can't have all the trading between the rich list can we? Well I would prefer that the dev was working on the problem rather than arguing pointless with raskul. This guy is a piece of work, one second he is calling it a scam and complaining about the .3 sync POS requirement, next minute he is offering to buy everyone's sync in exchange for other mined coins. +100 & he really needs psychological professional help ... Raskul is a personal friend of mine, so I must defend him. He can't be helped. He's a Scot, and he's my friend. You really think a psychiatrist can do anything with that combination? On with the show...

'hostile takeover' on an open source project. get a clue mate. 'fud and whining' narrow minded people do not consider others legitimate concerns. get some social skills. i would dump all of my sync for any price (more than enough for a veritable crash), if there ever will be a hostile takeover, no matter how much i loose.

I'm not sure about compiling for Windows, but I know that in Linux you have to re-run "configure" before you do a "make clean" and "make" in order to get the version number to reflect. The program will compile fine without reconfiguring, but the version number doesn't make it.
BTW, I am extremely happy that I was wrong about the snark earlier. Much gratitude from me, MsCollec.
For me, debian git pull cd src make -f makefile.unix clean make USE_UPNP=- -f makefile.unix ./Syncd getinfo "version" : "v1.0.1.0", "protocolversion" : 60017, "walletversion" : 60000, Regards Picchio

I downloaded the new wallet from OP ( i think its a good idea to change the wallet version, in the debug window it still shows v.1.0.0.0 ) First i got stuck at block 8200, i restarted the wallet but now i am stuck at block 8700 with a lot of active connections. The remaining blocks change, last block changes 8710 to 8942. I guess some of the nodes i have in the conf file are on a different chain ? Anyway how should i fix this ?

node all up to date. but stuck at block 8200
how to fix this someone please?
There is a problem, I'm looking at that. It get stuck at 8200, 8700 and I'm quite sure it will stuck at 9200 also. Will be fixed in a few days. I assume the initial block download cannot handle correctly situation where there is no PoW blocks, only PoS. When initially downloading, it asks for 500 blocks at a time. For some reason it does not make the second queryif there is only PoS blocks. That's my best guess currently. And if someone else wants to contribute, just go for it, fix it and make a pull request! Source is open :-) Meanwhile, restarting helps. I'm sorry for that.

I restarted and it stuck at 8700, so restarted again and the node is now up to date (bear with me, this is the first time i've done anything like this) so, all good and the node i've set up is working fine once we hit 9200, i'll go back in and make sure it gets restarted again.

I've been updating my node over the past half hour, the wallet on my node stuck (see above) but it should be good to go now.

Or leave only your node ? no just leave them all there, if one node is not active for any reason, there are others which your wallet will see. there was a point where my node was the only one connected properly, but there may be times in the future where that connection is held by another node. the more nodes you have, the better.

will everyone, no matter how much Sync they hold, be able to stake?
