Big bad dump. Whale-buywall met whale-seller.  Shocked

You think a flash crash with stop losses happened to clams?  It is on Poloniex Margin.  I just bought a lot more clams.

No, just the whale playing. Accumulated <30k sat, pumped with a big buy wall from 30k sat to 250k sat, then dump with one big sell order into his own buy wall + all the noobs trapped. Happened in october 2017, happen again today. That's CLAM for you lol.

Been staking a bit of clams here, not yet selling mine. I believe clam has still something to offer to all of us. They've been here for quite a while already. The dump will not let this coin die. I guess.

Neither of those is what happened. There was very little selling volume. In fact the whale just pulled his wall is what happened. Why? Who the hell knows. No dump, no stop losses (to a significant degree).

I still see a 196k CLAM volume spike on the 1mn chart at 20:34 UTC tho. Price fell from 231k sat to 180k sat in that minute. Average price should be >200k sat which gives us >400 BTC in volume. I hardly believe simply pulling the buy wall would instantly trigger a 400 BTC vol surge in under 1mn. Either the whale sold into his wall, or another person did.

You may be right. I saw the price drop when it happened and the reported volume was still very low, but I think that may have been lagged.

Doubt Polo are going to be too pleased with this kind of market behaviour. Whoever is throwing the dice here should be prepared for some heat.

CLAMS will be Polo delist?
No I didn't say that, at this point Polo didn't make any announcement of a Clams delist.  There might be less riskier options out there though so it all depends on someone's risk tolerance.

Like someone said earlier, Polo is probably not all too happy about what just happened in Clams. Many people in the Cryptospace were aware about this massive spoof buy wall that was going on in Clams.  And the SEC is watching USA exchanges closely, regulations seem to be on the horizon and Polo is pretty nervous about it as shown in their recent blog post:

CLAM price growing looked very artificial. It growed all time, even when altcoin market fall. There were so many walls, which supported price, and didn't give a chance for reducing a price. So yesterday price falling was expected.

So who was responsible for the clam scam PnD?  As if trade a coin that's only on one real exchange, one which has Margin trading.  That's just asking to get taken for a massive ride by any random smallwhale that cares to play with you all.  Nothing prevents this happening again.

Lol, what is good in this pump and dump coin?

It's just had -70% dump within hours, and it was artificially propped up by mega walls for months now. I don't know, who really took a bait to participate in this obvious pnd.

60K satoshis is ... 60K satoshi too much for it.

It's essentially worthless, is there any development, anything that it is used for apart from margin trading on poloniex?

Even chain is from time to time stuck, and client is barely usable.

No development since 2 years or more in the github, no real use, only pump&dump, but nice pump indeed!
