Hmm - how to short it?
Too late, the bug was fixed in 10 minutes yesterday. What kind of Bug was it? It allowed someone to get masternode rewards (20% of the block reward) more often than normal. Usually with one masternode, and with current number of masternodes, you will get the ~1 RDK reward once in every ~1000 blocks. He managed to game that number up. Sounds like a strange sort of bug - To summarize: An advanced cryptographer finds a exploit (and possibly several) in DRK's code --> DRK confirms his exploit --> said advanced cryptographer now gains credibility. Advanced & now credible cryptographer said DRK's code looks terrible --> priceless. Priceless? Or did the price just tank?

your a closed source project throwing stones at an open sourced project -> priceless It took DRK many months to go open source. XC will be fully open source sooner rather than later. i think it was dumb for darkcoin to be a coin before it was open sourced. I also think that a closed source project throwing stones at a open source project is ironic in the extreme.

that is the only argument you have left to FUD pretty pathethic. Lol! look dudes i'm trying to point out the irony. darkcoin open sources and the list of found exploits have only begun to be found (i'm sure). XC has still not open sourced and they are about to raise money for a company (in addition to the coin) and you're shitting on darkcoin. I'm just TRYING to point out the irony of anonymity trusted to a non open sourced platform. and the irony of throwing stones at an open sourced project (I'm sure vulnerabilities will be found when you guys open source). I get it, I get it. . .I'll leave you in peace with your mountaingoat mascot Let's treat even trolls with politeness.
ehhh don't worry about my feelings. i think if you'll all pay attention to my logic you'll see the ironies from someone looking from the outside (i'm the only "outsider" in this thread).

people are different. from an investors pov i wouldn't want it to go open source before the ito. yes i would have to trust them on the basis of their last actions and my own investigation but this will result in a higher reward. I would prefer the added risk here since its no risk to me in regards to the anonymity to work. If one doesn't prefer that risk, no one is forced to buy shares later, or now XC to get shares for free. in a free market where noone is forced to buy anything all those complaints are laughable actually. just buy your favorite by your own standards and shut up.

lol i'm not trying to convince outsiders. if i was i would be going about it differently. i'm just kinda letting my thought process all hang out. if you guys don't see the irony of a closed source privacy platform starting their own company in addition to their coin while throwing stones at the open source privacy platform then ... ok. I do kinda let it all hang out and be honest - but i'm not sure i've accused anyone in here of an iq of 15 you don't really engage in my logic - just personal assessments of my intelligence rather than the issues at hand. do you guys have any idea how rough it's gonna be on you when you get out of your little circle? and you just accuse naysayers of having a low iq?

XC proper did not "throw stones," a community member did. Quit using the jokes / jabs of random community members and saying XC proper is attacking an open source platform. I do not represent XC in any official capacity. Engage that logic.

Robinwilliams, your logic is plain to see and I do get it. However I also get your tone, and I get the types of topics you bring up. You: - almost always - if not always - post negatively about XC - harp on about issues that have been resolved and that you've already discussed here previously - try to find reasons to put a negative spin on news - patently ignore facts central to the topics you discuss that invalidate your cases against XC. This is trolling. You are *not* "just kinda letting [your] thought process all hang out;" you are wilfully ignoring facts contrary to your negative view of XC. As you well know, trolling is not allowed on Bitcointalk. As such, this is to notify you that you are banned. Do not post here anymore.

There's a reason people don't use microsoft products when they want to be anonymous though. Also, Security through obscurity
