On the one hand I get excited hearing about the teams lofty ambitions, on the other hand all I want is a functional XCurrency wallet for my Mac. It seems to me the team is putting the cart before the horse. Why not get XCurrency functioning and adopted before focusing on ITO's, the Blocknet, ad hoc mesh networks, etc...? It feels like the focus on XCurrency is dwindling and the team is centered on creating a private corporation so they can sell of their tech. As I understand it, XChat is part of XCurrency, that's why I bought more XC. Now I hear the possibilty of selling that technology in the future!?!? It has also been said that XC Inc's purpose is to create tech that will work on the XCurrency platform, but now we have Blocknet and XBridge and so many other buzzwords and concepts that it's difficult to keep track of them all. Dan says XCurrency is his baby, Steve Jobs said Lisa was his- we all know how that turned out. And Arlyn, you say we just increased our user base 10 fold, if we had the price would be reflecting that right now...it doesn't. Just need to vent a little...maybe you all know exactly what you're doing. Unfortunately several of your investors don't and are confused about the future of XC. I hope to see several XCurrency releases in the near future including mobile, Mac, and linux wallets. Well put. I've been with XC for a long time (look at the first page of this thread) and recently it has been pre-announcement after pre-announcement with a few testing releases in between. Yes in the long term Blocknet sounds great for the future but it feels like the development of XCurrency itself may be shifting towards a side project and looking at the price I feel others agree. Having said that I hope my feelings regarding this are wrong... Its what you don't see, currently we are working on wrapping up the mobile application, which features a completely redesigned UI, which takes time, along side this effort we are working on the final editions of Group XChat, and we just wrapped up decentralized mixing For the Last 4 weeks, the combined man-hours put into development across all of this is WELL over 600 Man hours just in development effort alone ** edit ** this also includes a non-disclosed application ** Dan Great post. Thank you. And pookie, I think we're all sick of your act. Please go away.

Knowing pookie, he will come back in a month crying how amazing XC is.
Agreed. Pookie has been very open about his posting methods in the past. It is what it is.

I'm pretty sure that if the devs ask you officially then you have to leave or theymos will ban you from bitcointalk.

Doesnt take alot of balls to point out a fact... you guys will do anything to hype this coin, yet bitcoin magazine, web 2.0 and blocknet doesn't change a thing for it.... Dead coin, hasn't passed 190 in about 3 months probably wont again, and doesnt even have a mac or linux build of most recent wallet... Windows only, dont make me laugh
Linux wallet is available at - http://downloads.xc-official.com/testing/linux/Thanks Dan, btw, I'll wait stable release before moving forward to upgrade my wallet. but Good Job !

Just wondering how the interactions between different coin nodes will work...
e.g If someone with a UtilityCoin wallet would like to send their UTIL coins via the XC XMixer service how does that work? What journey do their coins take? Has this stuff been worked out yet or is it still being thought about? Would that user have to use a decentralized exchange to convert their UTIL to XC, then send those coins, then convert back?

If it interferes with his huge SDC holdings (pookie = Mr. Boh), he relentlessly trolls. He says the devs of SDC aren't interested in being part of BlockNet, and if that is how they feel, let them leave. It won't hurt the overall picture. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

....He says the devs of SDC aren't interested in being part of BlockNet...
It he said that then it is another lie. This was posted by the SDC Dev: Hey guys,
I would like to state for the record that SDC has been in contact with XC in advance of the BlockNET announcement. And that we gave XC permission to include SDC as a participant in the BlockNET announcement. We see the BlockNET as invaluable tech with unlimited potential, and I would encourage everyone to further learn about the BlockNET before forming concrete opinions. However, I also want to assure you that we will not let it influence our current plans or development schedule for Shadow.

as i understand it there will be some kind of automatic exchange going on. the user wouldn't have to do this themselfs. the rate would have to be just garanteed to be the same for both transactions in and out of the "borrowed" coin. Also I'm happy to see that Dan updated us about where XC stands already again. The xnode mixer anon is the cornerstone of XC. when it arrives you better have 1k XC in your wallet cause the whole blocknet will try it out. And who knows what coins have joined at this point. hope some oldschool alts gona see this potential and include the Xbridge. the Xmixer will be a money printing machine.
