Good stuff on the OP
By the way, on the timeline, every entry in green is hyperlinked to the press releases we've created. The links are only in the PDF version though (which is downloadable at the bottom of the OP). I had to remove the timeline hyperlinks from the OP because they created too many slices and wouldn't load.

The previous version of the OP had all the links in it, but it wouldn't load. Bitcointalk seems to have a limit on the number of images per post. It's a pity. I'm considering a brand new OP that's a lot shorter, so that the links can be included. However we'd lose out on other information through that. I'm not sure what to exclude.

If you want quick BTC without taking much bank information and waiting for SEPA you can use Virvox its not the cheapest way but its quick.
It use exchange through SSL the money of second life that you can buy with paypal or credit card and after you can exchange SSL/BTC and transfert fund directly to Wallet,Bittrex or other exchange.
You need to make some small transaction at the start for increase your max deposit of cash, the max is 300€ by day at the end

Synechist- Regarding the decentralised exchange- I see its moved up the timeline! Good news! It was down as XCs but now as Blocknet? Where does XC stand? Do the fees go to xc owners or to owners of the blocknet ITO? Thanks in advance! Reason I ask - I don't want to sell xc for the Blocknet ITO! And was always looking forward to the XC decentralised exchange!

Also would be grateful for a non tech explanation of zero knowledge!?!? What's it about? And why is it or not so good? Want to work out what it has over XC tech!

Do the fees go to xc owners or to owners of the blocknet ITO? Thanks in advance! Reason I ask - I don't want to sell xc for the Blocknet ITO! And was always looking forward to the XC decentralised exchange! Yeah, I think we're all eagerly awaiting a decentralised exchange. It's very important due to the conduct of Mintpal et al. On the other hand Dan's workload is extremely high with existing XC tech, and he'll be busy up until Rev 3 perfecting XC's existing features. This is why decentralised exchange was a post-Rev 3 thing until now. But fortunately the Blocknet needs a decentralised exchange as one of its two core features (the other being the XBridge protocol). This means that the Blocknet's funding will go toward developing one asap. So this means that the Blocknet will deliver a decentralised exchange early on. Best of all it won't be a ghost town populated by a few XC supporters - it'll be supported by all the participating coins! Liquidity is all-important for an exchange, and that's what the Blocknet can deliver. Big news, really.

Zero-knowledge proofs allow you to prove to someone that you've paid them without revealing your address. It's a powerful technology, but: - it's not decentralised because a server is required for one stage of the process - it bloats enormously. - it's new, untested, and therefore potentially insecure cryptography. So it's not really implementable, practically speaking, at this stage. Furthermore it's not a flexible technology. It's a total blackout. This is not particularly useful in the real world. For example: - you buy something and need to prove to the seller that you've paid and not somebody else - if the seller denies having received payment, you'll need to prove to the cops (or something) that you paid - ZK doesn't conceal the amount sent, so if you donate money to a charity or political campaign, you won't be able to conceal that the charity received x amount from someone. ZK is, ironically, only useful between people who trust each other. :-)
