This thread exists because:

  • There was a perception, rightly or wrongly, that correct negative information about X11Coin was being unfairly censored from their new, moderated thread.
  • To help keep discussion about XC out of the Darkcoin thread, as it was getting out of hand.

Supporters and detractors of X11Coin are both welcome to post here. I'd ask that everyone be civil and keep the FUD and trolling to a minimum but that would be a waste of time, so instead I'll say let the reader beware, and don't believe anything posted here without some kind of evidence.

It's not meant to be a rival or replacement for the official thread, if you need technical help or guidance it's better to ask there first.

Another good reason...  Wink

Yeah. The good news is all the trolls from both sides that want to have a pissing contest can go here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=631052.0

They can piss all over each other and be ignored by the serious people. It's a win-win.

Hopefully this thread will reduce noise in the XC thread as well as the DRK one. Let's leave the official threads in peace so people who need help can get it and the developers and community can work on building awesome coins for us.

So have fun letting off steam, but when you're done please remember we're all in this together and the other lot aren't fundamentally evil just because they're supporting a different coin.

Thanks Smiley because it seems like noone would care in the original xc thread, i will try it here ...

Was anyone able to identify the codebase of xc?

There repository is just not what a repository should be, no codebase no history ...

Even the lamest clone coins have functional git repository ....

Any code that is independently reviewed by a website called cryptopump should raise a red flag. Also reviewed in 5 minutes.

Oh and the dev doesn't know how to use a repository.

Good idea.

However, XC people only post in the main DRK thread because they want to draw in suckers into their fucking scam.

It is the most outrageous scam I've seen for a while. Everything is a complete rip-off from darkcoin, even using names similar to darkcoin, the algo, the original name. The project was given air off the darkcoin efforts and community spread over several months of dedication.

The darkcoin thread gets plenty of visitors. So where best to promote a fucking scam? yeah, that's right, in the darkcoin thread. How do you keep the scam going, longer and longer, keep posting scam thread posts.

When things go wrong, what do you do? Tell everyone its all the fault of darkcoin thread and darkcoin spreading FUD. Yeah right.

Next, lock the XC thread and start a new self-moderated thread to keep the message on point and extend the scam a bit longer.

If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. I have been known to be wrong.

But from everything  I have read and seen, its a fucking scam.

Please, please, please prove me wrong. If its legitimate, I'll dump a few thousand dark and buy a few thousand xc.

I've noticed that the cool new phrase all the trollbox kids are using the phrase "DRK Bag" to describe anybody who has anything negative to say about XC.

Well lets do a little price action comparison of the two.

DRK has been out for several months and has retreated to 58.6% of its all-time high.

XC has been out for a few weeks and has retreated to 40% of its all-time high.

So, my question to you XC fans is, who is really more of a bagholder?

If you take the time to do the math yourself, you'll see I was generous to XC and rounded up the figure.

I have mined DRK and hold long time, but people say 50% was mined on first day.

Why wouldnt you relaunch the coin the day after if you see that diff isnt working ?

WHERE is the peer review for Darksend?

Someone was willing to pay for an independent audit of xc. they were completely ignored. You could have said, yeah when its ready you will get a chance.

Instead he was ignored and some random guy gave it the thumbs up. Why not let several people check it.

As for DarkSend. Well that is going to be made open source.

Its not at the moment because of fucking scams like XC. Everything else is a complete fucking rip-off from darkcoin, DarkSend will be too.

You'll just have to reinvest what you made so far off innocent people in another scam further down the line when the code is open sourced.
