X11coin aka XC was made by loljosh. Some of you may know him, some of you may not. Anyway, he's paid to make alt coins(see his thread)
Some coins he has made are: Synccoin, Cinni, Whitecoin, and X11coin.
Those coins have been made by 1 person, loljosh, as the devs themselves(claim to be devs) dont have any understanding of the actual coding, check their history posts as well, they never answer direct questions about anything technical..
I'm sorry for stakeholders/bagholders on those coins, but x11coin is just another coingen coin if you mean, with just advanced features. (coingen is a website that creates alt coins for 0.1 btc, loljosh makes better alt coins for 0.4 btc)

WHERE is the peer review for Darksend?
What code do you suspect Evan of copying? Are you implying something? Where is the peer review for Darksend? I OWN xc and drk. Fair is fair. Whats fair? dark didn't demand a review of xc's code. The xc community did. |

Keyword Months vs Weeks  Simple thinking is the best thinking. You should have ramped up your thinking in this instance because you missed the point entirely. DRK has had much more time to fall, and if it were truly a scamcoin then it would have, much closer to the degree that XC has. |

Good idea.
However, XC people only post in the main DRK thread because they want to draw in suckers into their fucking scam.
It is the most outrageous scam I've seen for a while. Everything is a complete rip-off from darkcoin, even using names similar to darkcoin, the algo, the original name. The project was given air off the darkcoin efforts and community spread over several months of dedication.
The darkcoin thread gets plenty of visitors. So where best to promote a fucking scam? yeah, that's right, in the darkcoin thread. How do you keep the scam going, longer and longer, keep posting scam thread posts.
When things go wrong, what do you do? Tell everyone its all the fault of darkcoin thread and darkcoin spreading FUD. Yeah right.
Next, lock the XC thread and start a new self-moderated thread to keep the message on point and extend the scam a bit longer.
If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. I have been known to be wrong.
But from everything I have read and seen, its a fucking scam.
Please, please, please prove me wrong. If its legitimate, I'll dump a few thousand dark and buy a few thousand xc.
OPEN SOURCE, BUDDY! Check Linux-->Google-->Cyanogen If its so fucking innovative and has so many useful security features why copy everything from darkcoin from the X11coin first used to the x11 algo? fucking scam. hope the feds catch-up with the culprits. |

Darksend is at heart a basic coin mixer, I thought coin mixers were shit so what's the problem of releasing the source? Also if there is one ultimate reason to audit the code...is to know that BOTH Evan or Dan aren't fed honey pots |

What code do you suspect Evan of copying? EXACTLY... He could have copied everything or even have hidden mining code for himself. Who would know without a PEER REVIEW?? Copied everything? From who? DarkSend was the first decentralized implementation. There was no other. That's precisely how you would know. |

Darksend is at heart a basic coin mixer, I thought coin mixers were shit so what's the problem of releasing the source? because of fucking scammers waiting for it. they will get a chance when it is open sourced. then watch the scams coming out of every orifice. |

Its not at the moment because of fucking scams like XC. Everything else is a complete fucking rip-off from darkcoin, DarkSend will be too. You'll just have to reinvest what you made so far off innocent people in another scam further down the line when the code is open sourced. mindfox has also checeked it, oh and there is a bounty for rat4 if he takes it. |

There is a reason why coins that try to do what DRK has done, fail. Libertycoin hired a dev with a bounty and failed. They are assigning it to "chinese software company". XC is just a centralized mixer a la fedoracoin. Who has decentralized mixer? Oh, yes, noone except Darksend. DarkSend will be opensourced after RC4 + bugfixes. That's the public development plan. |
