I am noticing a little lowering in hashrate with the newest SGminer and newest wolf kernels on X11? I was getting around 8100 Mh/s with my ATI 290 (noX) @ 1000/1500 and now I am getting only around 8000Mh/s Same thing goes for my 280X and 7950 cards.
Are you guys seeing the same? What are the benefits of using the newest releases? Are they more stable or something?

i've a little problem with my r9 280 and the sgminer from the nicehash site. i get only around 3~4mhs with wolf wolfs x11 bins from nicehash.
here my config file:

difficulty-multiplyer and nfactor shouldn't be needed. try "xintensity" : "64", instead of intensity 18 also make sure you rename wolfs .bins to the same thing sgminer spits out with this config

It will. Hi Wolf, can you build bin for Juniper AMD? HD5770, now with: sgminer.exe --luffa-parallel --keccak-unroll=6 -k darkcoin-mod --shaders 800 -w 128 --gpu-engine=910 --gpu-memclock=1350 -g 1 --gpu-vddc=1.100 --gpu-fan=60-100 --auto-fan -I 18 --lookup-gap 1 about 1075kH/s with 14.6 drivers.

That actually sounds close to right. Alright, thanks. I was expecting better since a 280X can get me ~5.1MH/s @ 1060/1500. Ah well. Thanks for posting your settings, smokiepot.

Now I am cofused with the x-intensity. I have a R9 280x mining currently Qubit with sgminer 5.1.1 on Win With X-intensity = 68 I get average 3.8 ( i am not pushing much since I use the Pc for other things) with x-intensity = 10 I get an average of 4.97 ? Any number above or below the magic 10 gives me lower results. I was always of the impression that more intensity ( call it raw, or x or simply I) should yield better results but putting more strain on the system. Was I totally wrong ? Did I find the perfect magic number for my rig? Can someone explain it to me ? TIA

Why do miners sell their crypto currency during the holidays periods? Most of the buyers are away on holidays and you'll only going to get 20% less for crypto currency? Never make much sense, miners selling patterns

Is there a way to prevent the display card from running slower than it should while mining qubit? The slower running card is a 290x.

I have some stupid questions. I havent mined anything in a long time. However, I wanted to fire up a rig to see how it does...
But I have seem to gone full retard. I cant get sgminer to 1) show the mining console once it starts and 2) get valid shares. Right now my invalid shares (using LTCRabbit as a test) are hovering around 90%. Something is very wrong
Both rigs that Im testing are Windows (and I literally know almost nothing about Windows). But here are the specs:
Rig 1# - Windows 8.1
2x R9 290x Catalyst 13.12 SGMiner v5 and BFGMiner
Rig 2 - Windows 7 2x MSI 7950 SGMiner v5
Is there a breakdown for people like me who dont know how to use Windows to get one of these running? I dont care which one. Just want to get it working properly so I can make adjustments, add cards, etc...you know, all the fun stuff that I [can] handle on Linux without help
