I am geting some odd issues on my AMD 470 mining rigs. Like Fans going on 100% randomly until rig freezes or sometimes it will shutdown it self?
Drivers 16.9.2 and 9.6 miner.
I have tryed to lower voltage to 0 and it don't help also i have lower all the clocks 1100/1750 -0mv same thing happens.

By the way my 380 and 390 mining rigs work like a charm on old risers.

I also stop 480 (((

Do you know an other pool with a lower minimum ?

Have the same problem.. win 10, 16.12.1 drivers. Sometimes it puts fans to 100%, but sometimes the fans are standing. Temperature goes to 90°C, but the card is still mining with lower speed....

guys simple solution is just get a web monero wallet and mine to there, then transfer to the exchange.  Or just wait til you get 5 xmr.  most pools will have a high withdraw minimum if you mine directly to exchange.  for example, https://mymonero.com/

Well same question here, XMR is a little tricky, you can't mine as others coins as it looks for some ID not only address ... so maybe consider as lost?
So suggestion for some "safe" web monero wallet?

You can  mine on your poloniex wallet, it goes like poloniexid.yourwallet
All the info you need is on poloniex

At that clock your Elpida should be doing no less than 570.  Try modding your bios with these:

Looks like there is bug with Polaris cards on v9.6, sometimes fans got stuck at 100%(my cards work at about 20-25% fan) , it is a big problem for remote rigs. I don't put any additional parameters in bat file. ETH and ZEC miners works without this issue.

-tt option also doesn't work. at first it worked(I set -tt 64), but after rig restart, it just followed default card fan profile(temp target 75) which is not good. drivers 16.9.2
Try with 16.10.x or 16.11.x drivers it should work without problems

Any chance of -tstop being added to the miner?  I need to have my thermal limits set lower than my bios is set.

Have the same problem.. win 10, 16.12.1 drivers. Sometimes it puts fans to 100%, but sometimes the fans are standing. Temperature goes to 90°C, but the card is still mining with lower speed....

same problem : 100% fan after few hours with RX480.
No pb with zcash or eth

On rx400 if you'll not EVER use afterburner, or miners, or any third party sw to control fan speeds, but instead use internal mechanism - just provide target temp and min+max fan speed (I use Watttool for that) => it will work flawlessly everywhere.

Hello Claymore, how are you?

I was wondering if you will improve the Monero miner or if it is done already. I would like to know because it looks some kind of incomplete: no in-screen temperature, and it has some minor problems with rx470.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Bye.

I would also like to add that the Linux version tends to watchdog pretty frequently.  I have to keep a close eye on my Linux rigs running this miner.  Hopefully that can be addressed.  Grin
