Hello there! Thanks for your miner!
I'm going to make a GUI for this miner, just like I did for CPU Miner (http://sourceforge.net/projects/cpuminergui/).
Can I upload the package (the GUI + the miner) to a Sourceforge project I'll create for the GUI?

No problem, do it Smiley

Ok, thanks! By the way, I use this miner on an AMD R9 M265X. Do I have to install anything else to improve performance? I use the latest drivers available on W8.1.

You can try to change HashCnt to find the best speed.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

How much would it cost to make this open source?

Hi Claymore

I've been using v9.3 beta on Windows to mine AEON for a while, but they are changing their PoW from CryptoNight to CryptoNight Lite  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=641696.msg11881396#msg11881396

Any chance you could incorporate this into your GPU miner?

Cheers
Bosco

Probably yes, but not right now because I don't have any free time currently Sad BTW, as far as I understand, this coin has no exchange market even, right?

It is on Bittrex now

Thanks! I tried to change it, but anything below the default decreases my hash rate and anything above it crashes the program, so I guess I'm good. Cheesy
I have an R9 M265X, I get 160 H/s, and an i7-4720HQ, I get 90-110 H/s with it, I guess I can't get too much from a laptop.

Yeah, please add support for Aeon's CryptoNight-Lite algo. Smooth breathed new life into it.

Claymore -

Can you estimate a price for releasing the miner as open source?

Thanks!!

Hmm so in my batch file I have

Code:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

and they return successful but miner is always stuck at 64%

Using catalyst 15.7.1 and 9.3 of miner

Any ideas?

Tried running as admin...

Thanks

I think I remember reading that once GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT is set, you must launch the miner from another cmd/terminal instance, not the same one you just used. Give that a go.

Well running it like

Code:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
NsGpuCNMiner.exe -o -u x -p x -wd 1

Opens a cmd prompt sets the environment variables then miner opens in another cmd window so I think that is already taken care of :/

My current code looks like this

Code:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
start /D D:\Crypto\Monero\Miner\GPU\ cmd /c NsGpuCNMiner.exe -o -u x -p x -wd 1

Which opens cmd prompt sets EV then closes that initial window and opens another followed by the miner.

So yeah pretty sure NsGpuCNMiner always starts a new cmd prompt.

Hmm...

the cryptonote coin Aeon, being developed now by smooth, has a different POW that can be mined on smartphones.. at least, thats the goal.

I have my GPUs installed on a 32 system. do I need to instal a 64 system?
