Before I switch to zcash.. i tried this miner: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.6 to mine XMR... I use Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 8GB... I mined in minergate pool... I tried various options provided in the readme file... The most normal setting with highest hashrate (about 740s h/s per card) with no invalid share is use -h 1024 at the end of command line........ The ALMOST normal setting (give highest hashrate about 1190s h/s per card) is using -h 2048.. at first this setting worked fine... but after some time it started to give invalid share..

IF Claymore can sort this problem out (i mean make this rx 470 8GB (or other cards with 8gb VRAM) work normal with -h 2048 option hashing around almost 1200 h/s) maybe he can make mining Monero XMR interesting again.. as interesting and as profitable as zcash or eth mining... and make the mining world ROOOOOOOCK!!!

I have been mining Zcash with Claymore's miner and decided to come back and try ETH and CryptoNote.
I don't have the Eth log handy but its similar to this log with some message about a tempban. Why is it trying to open 2 connections to NH at once?
I have to add that before I switched to Zcash miner both of the other Claymore miners worked fine. I have made zero changes to my rigs. I also contacted NH and there is no blocking or anything.
Any help is appreciated as Zcash is about to become less profitable then Eth or Cryptonote for me.

Include rx 470/480 4GB and 8GB cards in Your miner please and newer drivers as 16.x.x (for rx series)...
Let the  -h parameter be operational on rx series vga cards.

My GPU only uses 50% workload, got the same issue with the Zcash-miner.
 470H/s with 7970 matrix platinum, is this fine or should I be getting higher?

RX 480 with newest driver working fine here.
