sorry guys, but we live in extreme period of social cynism, no one really cares for meaning, this is postmodern age, meaningless is more interesting.
Im trying to say that logo should reflect todays trend in demand, not romantic ideals. Sadly, those are out of fashion.

Nemstakes are issued and traded on NXT Asset Exchange and can be exchanged for NEM after the official launch in a few months.

Is not possible but will be possible. Can't guarantee it is in the next release though cause our GUI developer has a lot of other tasks too.

Should we have a vote on the most preferred logo? I can hold one if the development team is too busy to do that. Never mind the last comment about "sperms" but seriously don't blow the community's opinion away.

Do what is best for the community. Logo should be accompanied with an explanation behind it. And remember, NEM IS NOT A COIN per se.  It is an ecosystem we are building and should not just look like a coin.
Creativity must therefore stem from the philosophy of this project in totality.

That's why I said giving the texts to a designer and let he does the magic. I don't understand other half of your reply which is not relevant to my request.
Everyone has a circle of competency. Be frank if I may, the logo in the current form is put together by someone not competent at making logos. There is a lack in color harmony, form and originality.
Or hold a logo competition so best designers can compete to represent your ideas.

Totally agree to have a logo competition. In fact, I cannot adapt to every single request on logo design because this work take much time, also it's not ensured at all that everyone will all accept that revision.

It's not a good move to announce the official logo when it's not yet finished.

If we're gonna change the logo later, why don't we choose the most beautiful & professional one since consistent professional image is more important than a wordy meaningful story that could be updated later, imho?

And yes, as a designer, I'm really sad to have my original design changed by another one, especially when it looks not as good as the original one.

Weird if you, the designer, is overlooked in logo issues. It shouldn't be so rush.

The vps with all of the hosted nodes apparently went down.
Since this is the first day of the alpha, we don't have any redundancy yet.
So our small set of gateway nodes all went down.

Here is a cloud load testing tool that can simulate thousands of virtual users.
I don't know if this can help you test the network, it might be only for testing centralized servers.

I dont know the cloud test soft, but the problem is: The nem network is decentralized, just to protect the system.

Centralized is not one good word at virtual cryptocurrencies.

I like the comment "meaningless is more interesting" but I am not cynical. i see the trend as a sign of respect for individualism. There is no need for Gods or grand leaders. Users and individuals can construct their own meanings that are not necessarily similar. At this age there is a distaste in things overly complex or too imposing.

Artistic works have a coherence and consistency. Should try to keep that mind before mixing pieces together.
