guys im still struggling with the linux compilation.  I'm now getting...

Code:
make  all-recursive
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/ubuntu/skminer_source'
Making all in compat
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/ubuntu/skminer_source/compat'
make[3]: Entering directory `/home/ubuntu/skminer_source/compat'
make[3]: Nothing to be done for `all-am'.
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/ubuntu/skminer_source/compat'
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/ubuntu/skminer_source/compat'
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/ubuntu/skminer_source'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `skminer.o', needed by `skminer'.  Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/ubuntu/skminer_source'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/ubuntu/skminer_source'
make: *** [all] Error 2

I fixed the "))))" error in configure, ran autogen.sh, ./configure, then make
Any ideas?

that's strange which exe are you using ? (did you recompile with 5.2 ? ).
My 980's are running fine, speed around 50~56MH/s

Regarding the 780, yeah the speed shouldn't be that high, it probably doesn't work properly.
Try the exe by mumus, using as #thread the number of cards.
I'll release soon a more conservative kernel for these cards having problem...

It's already the case, the "original" miner gets only booos

decrease the throughput, although with 4gb... (deactivate sli if it is activated).
The kernel being optimized for the 900's (well at least my 980's) you shouldn't have any problem at all

I must admit, I don't understand either how the two can coexist.. what is the block reward for the cpu channel ?

I must admit, I don't understand either how the two can coexist.. what is the block reward for the cpu channel ?

From what I understand, the money supply (or block rewards) will be distributed evenly for both channels (50% CPU, 50% GPU) after equilibrium is reached. But until then, full block reward will be awarded to each block solved on the GPU channel. So for now, the distribution is extremely unfair to those who do not have NVidia GPUs running on Microsoft Windows.

I will put something together this weekend for the rest of us who are not running Windows; sorry I do not have the time to do it before then.

Can somebody help me how to calculate the difficulty (the one we see with getinfo in the CoinShield client) from block.nBits for the GPU channel? I would like to print out the current difficulty in the miner.
Thanks.

working on it... might take a little while to be honest... progress are being made I am able to start the opencl miner without it to crash...
and even to access my amd card (then crashing the computer after watching my card hashing at 0kh/s at 94°C  Grin)

The whole kernel implementation has to be rewritten...

Any ideas?

helpless too!

someone give some hints for linux compile? or able to fix it like christian told:

I think in the configure.ac you have to tell the autotools that you want to use c++ ,not just plain C
(use the AC_PROG_CXX macro)

then run aclocal && autoheader && automake && autoconf

and ./configure
