well, I still havent got my units up and running whatsoever.  Neither of them even connect to my router anymore. I`ve tried accessing them ,and all my webpage says is that its not available. I have a feeling the image of openwrt is currupted.  I cant even ssh into them (although maybe i`m using the wrong settings).  I assume its 192.168.1.99 root root and port 24?
First you need to find the ip they are on. Look at connected devices in router or jus nmap them

The router does not show them at all in attached devices.

Do you have dhcp enabled? set a static ip

Ahh, yes. I configured all my S3's as DHCP instead of static. Thanks ! I'll reconfigure in the morning !

Mine are a static IP but I still get the annoying beeps. I'm not there physically to troubleshoot but the missus reckons its real annoying.
PS: I have turned off the beep to false in miner configuration

Unplug them both and plug 1 in... Then log in and change the wan ip to something other than .99
Then plug in the 2nd one and leave it or change it as well. If you plug in 2 without changing the ip addresses you'll have an ip conflict and both will be inaccessible.

I dont have my batch 1s yet to really troubleshoot but I think your best bet would be to hit the little reset button while they are on and make sure your router is on the 192.168.1 subnet

Edit seems ip conflict would def cause the problem. Wish I had hardware to troubleshoot Smiley.. bitmain need some news on when rest of batch 1 is shipping I feel like ups is gonna blackhole my ip

Port 22 is default for SSH.

Do you have an IP scanner on-hand to scan the IP-range to see if you can locate it ? (Used to use SuperScan on Windows a while back, and Angry IP Scanner for Mac works well)

No shipping for my Batch 1 order  Angry

2014-06-30 19:51:10.0

I'm getting ancy. I'm damaged due to my ride on the Black Arrow failboat.

Just got an alert from UPS that my S3's will be delivered on Tuesday.

Now I wonder when 112bit will ship the 1 I ordered from him.

Just checked on UPS and my B1 order (paid 2014-06-30 21:43) just had a shipping label opened.  Still nothing on Bitmain account, but this shows that there is some progress.

Cheers

Ok,

So I reset my ants and went right back to the beginning. I changed the network config so it pointed to my router and left the miner config as it was.

The units were hashing for over 10 mins.  Great!

So then I update the ant that i`m working on with my config (eligius)  and bam! Beeping noises and no hashing.

I rebooted and now its just sat here not hashing.  Do they not support eligius?

I'm happy to wait, checked my order, it still says unshipped, remember these guys are working really hard on this to get them all shipped and admittedly ROI is important but I'm sure they are not sitting around doing nothing either  Grin give it some time guys and gals.

I'm sure they are trying their best  Grin

Do you know if it's possible to conect the S3 to a server power supply? If yes then how? (I'm talking about an IBM Bladecenter 39Y7352).It's kinda sad that they removed server support (they should have done it like AntMiner S1's).

Thank you!

This is mine using a Dell 750w psu:

where do I find that PSU and cable set up?  I would love to try it out.

This is one place to get them
http://minersource.net/products/dell-750w-psu-slash-adapter

So its just 54,99$ with PSU and board and all cables?Huh WOW.

But im from spain.... why they dont deliver here Sad Sad Sad thats a GREAT PRIZE if i get that PSU for just 54,99$.... but how can i buy it if im from europe omg... Sad Sad Sad

And that PSU can power 2 S3 i see, just like my Corsair CX750M, even some guys told me here not to use 2 S3 with 1 CX750M because its risky. so powering 2 S3 with dell psu its risky too?

EDIT: I see minersource delivers to spain, but costs more than the dell psu+board.... arggggggggg

Yeah that's what I was thinking right now searching on ebay.com

And what's the advantage of using dell psu,  prize and that it's a small and thin psu?

That's sidehack's breakout board.  You can find out more here:

http://www.gekkoscience.com/products/D750_supply_breakout_board.html

Complete kit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/750W-Power-Supply-Kit-High-efficient-PSU-cables-for-GPUs-or-bitcoin-miner-/131171304247?pt=PCA_UPS&hash=item1e8a6b4337

[/quote]

but i see theres N750P, Z750P....

on gekkoscience they say:

"Dell PowerEdge 2950 (Z750p) Power supply breakout board. Breaks out power and signal from the Z750p power supply for use as a general purpose 12V power supply"

so which version should i buy? Or its the same? On ebay i find different names but they all look the sameç

and just buying board from minersource, delivery its 50$....... WHAT THE.......... Cry Cry Cry

There´s no european reseller of these DELL boards?Huh

All those B1 S3's that have been running for a while, have you managed to get the 'BestShare' to show anything other than '0' in the management interface in the 'Miner Status' tab?  Or does this require an upgrade of the firmware?

I'm in the B2 still waiting to hear that the units have been shipped  Sad
