i cannoct connect the miner also with direct cable miner-pc
the pc address is 192.168.0.xxx
i changed it according to dogie's guide to 192.168.1.1 and connect the miner
i changed the protocol into dhcp client ands save and apply
after no more connection, also repeating the same steps
the problem is that i didn't set the pools data

I downloaded the app Fling to my smart phone. Once you do dhcp the router gives it a random IP so I would go down the list on my phone looking for it which either starts with Shenzhen or Paragon and this will show you the IP. I later learned to just stay with Static and change the last two digits of 99 to an unused IP number or numbers which again the Fling will show what is already being used.

why change to DHCP? It is simpler and more reliable to stay with a fixed IP address in the range supported by your router. You can always go back by using the reset button (on the S3 it is behind a hole in the front panel, see Dogie's guide under 'troubleshooting'). (The 'D' in DHCP stands in this case for 'Dumb'.... A fixed IP (as long as you use a different one for each Antminer) is repeatable, predictable, easy to monitor and free of DHCP lease issues. Cheers

I just tried to log onto my S3 and get the log in page but once I enter the password and try to log in this is all I get: /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: Failed to execute function dispatcher target for entry '/'. The called action terminated with an exception: /usr/lib/lua/luci/sauth.lua:87: Session data invalid! stack traceback: [C]: in function 'assert' /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: in function 'dispatch' /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:195: in function </usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:194>
It's still mining and hate to reboot it in case it would not restart unless someone can tell me what this means. Thanks
But then again rebooting or using the reset button may be my only option?

Guys 10,000 RPM is impossible. I have high RPM PC fans that size and I think they run at 2000 RPM. Not even sure I believe 4000RPM fan speed. That's what the small GPU fans on a 290x run at, 4000RPM and they are very loud.
google delta 10k rpm fan.Not saying these fans aren't glitching. But these do exist. I am sure such a fan exist, but 10,000 rpm at this size it would make it windy in the room. You hard drive spins at 10,000 RPM. I can't buy it

hello someone can help me? I changed the protocol in DHCP before inserting my pools information
Now I cannot access the S3
What can i do?
DHCP tells the miner to connect using any available ip address on the network. Fire up a cmd prompt on windows type ipconfig /all find your network address… usually its 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1 log into your router by using one of those addresses above. there should be a list of connected devices you should find the miner address there.

This is a new one: I have had the bad weather delay not the broken plane one. Hopefully it was not a plane crash and they are under reporting it. If I were you I would google UPS plane crash in Alaska. Edit I googled and found no news on a recent crash.

This is a new one: Airplane problems? Just think this could be a sequel to Tom Hanks movie Cast Away. The UPS plane goes down and the lone survivor on the island does not have "Wilson" but has "Mr. Bitmain" instead. And once rescued the pilot hand delivers the miner.... ( after 100 difficulty raises) to the waiting addressee which still beats the Monarch being delivered.

112bit Juan is a fraud.
I don't know why would you guys buy from a distributor when Bitmain is available directly?
Why add 2 variables into the equation when you can deal with 1.
Goodluck dealing with Juan and his pitty excuses. he'll just keep running your antminer for 1 month, make money off it, and then send it to you by Snail Mail when the S3 is obsolete just to piss you off even more and fuck you one last time.
Quite true I mean get from bitmain directly

Hi! Im a new miner from Spain, Barcelona. Best regards for all! I have two questions. I hope you can help me because i dont have any idea to find the solution of my problems. I have one Antminer S3 B3 and one is working with 2 PCI Connectors @250Mhz and hashs at 500gh/s but in one hour and a half the hash decreases to 360-380 gh/s. How is it possible? The status of miner appears to be OK, without any "X" or "-"... Somebody knows whats happening? if i reboot the S3 the hashing push up to 500GH/s but in one hour and half decrease too... In the status no HW errors and nothing strange. Only i can saw is a Little decrease of temperature... 47-44 grades @500GH/s VS 46-40 @365-380 GH/s. I observed that my miner works more stable with 2 PCIEX connectors tan 4. How is it posible?? And the second question is for the second S3 B3. I tested 250Mhz, 237Mhz, 225 and default 218.75 but always i get a lot of HW errors. How can fix the HW errors?? The only speed that no cause HW errors is 212Mhz. I think the temperature is not the problema because its working at 43-43 grades. Two S3 antiminers are working with the last available firmware of Bitmaintech and are new. Arrived this week. Can you help me? PD:I hope you can excuse my English Anybody?

My guess is your power supply for your over-clocked machine--can you swap it for a second and monitor to see if it continues to be difficult?
