It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

me too, a woman called me from ups at six am asking for a tax id number, she said my s3's are in kentucky and they won't be here 'til tomorrow, she said the insured value being over $2,000 is why the issue came up.

Yup just jumped through those hoops.

My shipment was held in UPS's Louisville warehouse over the weekend because "A valid tax ID or deferment number is missing and is required for clearance."
This morning slightly after 8AM they finally called and I fed them my "Tax ID" and supposedly it will be released today and move on towards Minnesota.

Anyway, they are going to want your "TaxID", which translated, is your Social Security Account Number (SSAN/SSN).
If you give them an EIN (basically a business's SSN) you'll likely be charged duty.

I still haven't received my 7.7% BTC refund.  Has anyone else received theirs yet?  Come on Bitmaintech, you expect payment for orders within an hour but when it comes to a small refund we have to wait weeks.  BTC is supposed to be instant.

I have not received mine either.

Just received my 7.7% refund, transaction is still pending.

i have corsair CX750 Modular and perfect...(had them from s1), no problem at all. but maybe better you buy 850W and you power up 2 S3 with that.

That one should do it. I don't know how many PCI-e outputs it has but two should be enough if you aren't overclocking.

I am currently running two S3's with the following configuration:

EVGA 750W 4 PCI-ex goes to one S3
EVGA 750W 2 PCI-ex goes to the slave blade on the second S3 while Corsair CX600 Builder Series supports the master blade of the second S3.

Both of them are reliably running at 500 GH/s.

How many rigs did you all buy to put you over the limit?

Awesome, ty for the advice. Will look into running 2 from 1 supply where we can.

Those have thin cables that really heat up. A corsair 500W PSU is fine unless you plan on overclocking.  750 is a huge overkill.

I do plan to turn the power up after warranty on S3 is up in 30 days, you think maybe a corsair 600w would do?

I don't mind the extra 10 bucks if its not a safety issue, it looked like the 750 was a bit more efficient.
