are you crazy, you are happy with low price

Life for me is about taking advantage of opportunities, Viacoin is my new favourite crypto, in my mind there is not a better one out there at the moment but if the price is falling I'm not going to deny myself the acquisition of more asset through inaction.

I won't lie I bought at 24K, the price began to drop so I sold half. Now we are at 14k I can buy 40% more via with the capital I have from selling earlier.
40% is not a small number and if via becomes a decent success then I will make 40% more profit.

Don't feel like you are showing commitment to via by holding on to it while it gets cheaper, via doesn't care about you Wink

I'm sure we will all be in the green in the near future even for those who bought at the very top. It's still early days Smiley
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

this is unreal, I have buys  in at 13k, 12k and 11k but thought that people just might run insane..... We are DEFINING (I guess that was not very British) the block chain of "speech" http://www.coindesk.com/all-things-alt-syscoin-team-emergency-injunction-moolah/
...
ps: there is a nope coin! we can surely do better

What is needed is publicity, video explanations, some sensationalising from coindesk etc

"Moolah took your bitcoin? better call Saul Should've used Via!"

"Via has a built in decentralised exchange"

"Via gives a voice to it's users"

"If Btc is the honey badger of money then Via is Optimus Prime from Transformers"

That kind of jazz, Not criticizing the current set up at all because like I said it's early days but at the moment the spearhead of promotion is... an essay contest Cheesy

yep, can read along your lines man. A strong PR for decentralized exhchanges on proven blockchain technology (nonxtpls) might help a little for this worthy cause here....

That 37000 is back at the top of te order book, please someone take his ass out Angry
Incredible exit opportunity, buying back at 2-3k less than now still nets a nice profit Smiley
In fact the profit margin grows more rapidly the lower it goes! Grin

Fun fact:

Viacoin currently is worth about $0.04 per viacoin.

Looking at the charts, during launch, 1 viacoin was also worth about $0.04 though was only about 6000 sats per coin.

Due to the decline of BTC, even with Viacoin sitting at 14,000 satoshis per coin..(and btw, I told you so)...any regretful individual (including the 70+ btc whale) who bought during the ICO and held until now is currently only breaking even.

Market cycles are fun aren't they?

I leave you all with another bit of advice; Viacoin will go down even more. Sub 10k in 1-2 weeks so place your buy orders there. You're most welcome.  Wink

My comments are not FUD. My claim of a drop in value from 20k into the 10k- low teens have already come into fruition.

Unfortunately, I have no more Viacoins to sell to you. I sold the bulk of my short term investments at 50-55k. And most recently have been quick-flipping since 40k satoshis.

I stopped quick-flipping after via broke 17k. Too risky to flip on very very low volume.

Can someone explain the difference between what Via team is working on and what Bitcoin "sidechains" is to someone who is not a programmer please??

Is this a concern for the Via coin?

Sidechains refers to blockchain interoperability, that is, for one blockchain to be aware of another's state. This would allow for "transfer" of tokens from say BTC to a "sidechain".
A sidechain here simply means another blockchain by the way. The way a token could be moved is by freezing it on one chain and minting it on the other, then to send back, freezing/destroying the token and remobilizing the original coins.

Treechains are a different way of organising and mining a blockchain such that you dont need mining pools. Treechains can utilise sidechains. There is no competition per se, except that sidechains, as currently proposed exacerbate mining centralization.

There is good stuff in sidechains, but it does not remotely solve bitcoin's scalability issues while treechains does. There is good tech and ideas in the sidechains concepts and I am sure treechains will incorporate some of those. Token transfer for example would be possible with treechains.

Any timeline on Treechains? So, we can schedule our efforts to promote and test e-Peso to a much larger audience. Thanks.

sure. but come on, let's be honest.  this is a good project, but from a trading stand point, it might be best to be in the sidelines for now where via is concerned.

I moved my order from 12k to 10k, seems like a wise choice given the current climate, also no word from the bitmessage camp about any progress with their implementation of treechains (which im really looking forward to so i can say goodbye to traditional email forever) so i should imagine tc for Via is months away at least, and since 80% of the coins value has been lost already I should think this is going to get worse before it gets better Cry

Hodl anything you want these days. It will go down

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.
