i presume Zynga has taken into consideration the recent FINCEN ruling? buying more

Zynga UK if it happens.  Likely you won't see this accessible by any US customers.

I think people are blowing FinCEN stuff waaay out of proportion. FinCEN is not against cryptocurrencies. They are just applying existing their framework. There is exactly zero issues for large businesses with compliance. they have the money and the manpower. The issue is for the little guys trying to comply.

drak, you know when counterparty had to modify their protocol because of the OP_RETURN change, does clearinghouse use that OP_RETURN option the way counterparty initially intended it now that the option is there?

Would it be right to say that clearinghouse is what counterparty intended to be?

Counterparty never got to launch with OP_RETURN 80 before it was cut to 40. We have 120 now btw.

Not fincen related.  The last I heard (which was quite a while ago) Zynga had been testing real money poker, but not in the US.  They stayed out of the US market because of the US's agressive stance against online gambling.

Ok, just bought a 10msh contract for scrypt mining at genesis mining where you can mine via. Never mind Wink before

In the OP are a lot of pools listed. Would recommend to try http://viacoin.minerpools.com

I think that this pool has issues atm.

Try via.1gh.com

the point is that I bought a cloud mining cotnract. This is the only one where you can choose to mine and keep viacoins but you cannot chose the pool to mine on (unfortunately).

i have had 20 mhs with them for 6 weeks or so, its ok. when the btc price goes down the fees are killer though. im not really sure yet if they actually mine via or multi btc and buy via, either way you get a decent amount per day and you dont have to even think about it which is cool. should be hitting ROI in another 6 weeks or so, would have been alot sooner if the btc value had held. also check out hashx on ipominer, 7.99 per mhs, short ROI and has been close to 10% higher than ltc gear.

I am happy to hear that because I was not so sure if I will hit roi with this. Do you think I should upgrade to 20mhs? Does it actually affect my roi cause the price model is quite linear, isnt it? Another thing is that they show me a (tiny) btc amount although I had 100% via mining in the setup... So they might really buy via...

Just ordered 10mhs on ipominer. A bit risky but nice return. lets see how this will turn out. Thanks for the hint man.

I am in Germany with extremely high energy costs and cloud mining is really the only solution.

yep no prob man. as far as whether you should upgrade..i dont know the answer to that. You will ROI alot faster with hashx, wuher is a good dude and knows what's up and i can promise you as long as ltcgear doesnt run off, which i dont think they will, he wouldn't do anything to screw anybody over. if you upgrade your genesis, and get the discount ( i have one for 3%) its good if you want to switch your coins around and they are working on X11 thats coming out soon but it costs alot more and your ROI will be alot furthur out. Im in the same boat, right now im leaning more towards buying more hashx just because the ROI is shorter and i can buy whatever coins i need with that btc so in my opinion its a safer bet. The other thing you should think about is if your paying with btc or something else. right now with the price of btc I am going to wait before i buy more genesis just because i dont want to pay a bunch of btc and then it goes to like $380 or whatever it was last week and i could have got more for my money. So thats my thoughts on that situation.

Interesting though both clearinghouse and viacoin are mentioned to be used in the process.  I would say holding lots of both is a good bet.

its through clearinghouse, which uses the viacoin blockchain. so clearinghouse will be the one with the large market cap 😊

Via is to Xch what Btc is to Xcp, and it's Btc with the higher cap by far though?

the tokens traded in zynga will be XCH, therefor clearinghouse will be going up. the clearinghouse platform relies on via chain, though it desent matter wether  via has a 1dollar cap or 99million cap. clearinghouse is still the platform in which zynga is using

VIA/XCH are connected in 100%. IF VIA will go up so the same XCH.

This is interesting because surely zynga would create their own token assets within clearing house rather than using xch, and since you can create a pretty much unlimited amount of tokens from a small amount of xch and trade assets directly for via on the clearwallet exchange, why in this scenario is xch so valuable?

Also via would be used by any other platforms that are built upon the blockchain which cannot be said for xcp.

that's if zynga are looking for their own market and if they were scammers

could they get anyone better on board for their own team

I dont understand any of that my friend, why would they be scammers for creating their own token?
It makes sense to create your own token, to lock the amount, make it callable, pay dividends etc
