Price is where it is because of asic mining.  If it wasn't a scrypt coin we wouldn't be seeing this price.  Bad call on the design specs in my opinion, but that's neither here nor there I bought QTL for the miner.

Be interesting if it was converted to an X## coin.

Marcus,

someone is selling this morning 90.000 qtl on the bittrex market at 7 K
I think it would be good you give us a timeframe of your development progress, so people would know they have value in their hands.

I fear until he develops for Mac, it's not going to go much further. Most serious traders would not use a windows PC because of security issues. I remember reading someone offered to port it to Mac but unfortunately he was refused.

Bottom line is this, this needs to be on Mac if you want to see the price rise. And I don't mean chucked together in Java, I mean written in c.

Mac users are a slim portion of overall PC users, so I wouldn't say Quatloo is dead in the water without them. While you do have a point I think your statement is a bit too much. Also, don't you guys have a WINE kind of program you could run it though? Perhaps even VMWare. Running a fresh installation of Windows 7 with nothing but Quatloo Trader and perhaps maybe even ZoneAlarm should be more than safe.

I can promise you, if it makes money, people will use it no matter what.

How about, let Markus get this up and running where he likes it and then he can work on other versions.  Once he figures out the functions and gets auto features working at a high level, remaking it for MAC is a much smaller task.  BTW, Fyrstikkin in his vids is running this on a MAC for the vid, so it can be done.

I would like to see mobile versions of at least the basic trader, but I am content to wait for Markus to get the first one complete.

Finally got 3k QTL for what I thought was  good price (between 6350 and 6800 sat).

I put the trader on LTCD for a while and changed the BID and ASK amounts to avoid dust errors at Bittrex.  But I kept them equal to each other. (55 coins)
I let it run for a while in the market, about 2 hours, and had a drawdown of 400 coins, but didnt lose any BTC because I had bought some coins earlier 10% cheaper ,

In order to gain BTC, what are the optimum BID and ASK amounts in an up market?  Also can you gain BTC in a down market?

My suggestion to you: Get some more qtl while they are at these dumping prices. I have over 12K, to be sure I will join the club of people who will be able to trade between
stockmarkets with this tool. Buy now a lot or wait and buy later little ;-)

In the meantime: trade with pocketmoney ;-)

Hey guys,

While I was trading on cryptsy, I noticed that the recent price, or last price is not updating!!   It stays for a long time even though on the web site its changing!

Anyone noticed that?

WE NEED MINTPAL V2 API ADDED ASAP

I'm sure the commuinity could raise a bounty to get it done quick, I know a few people that would help and I'd put up some btc for update in the next couple days

Hey, Everyone.. Between my current job assignment and working on the trader.. I have little time and don't get to the forum as often.  I will release an update for a few minor fixes within 24-48 hrs and also I am working on the auto arbitration release for Wednesday night next week.  I'll look at the Mintpal api and will add it, However, I have to finish the promised auto arb first.

with mintpal having 60 days free trading this would be a dream come true for this bot, and the traders running em Smiley

bounty is still available for a quick solution

small request for "my history"
change DateCreated by DateTrade (timestamp) or add new column next to it.

Easier to follow the last trade we made while being away.

Do yourself a favor and go for the v2 version, on which all works perfect.
It's currently available for less than 30 dollars.

Get those 3000 qtl today and not when the new v3 will be released.
You still have 48Hours. ;-)

I've been using Quatloo trader for a few days now and I really like was the software is currently capable of (can't wait for more features)! As much as I do like the software, I have a question about its operation. I noticed that when I perform some of the trades that I get a lot of cancelled orders. I have plenty of coins to perform the trades and the trades are within my parameters. Why does this keep happening? Is it something on the exchange side or the trader side?

I apologize if this question has already been addressed but thanks for any assistance!
