Management Buy-out of BETVIP.com
By David Parker

Daniel Schwartzkopff, founder of BetVIP, the world’s first licensed bitcoin sportsbook and casino has concluded a management buy-out deal for the company. Schwartzkopff said BetVIP’s aim was to bring “transparency and legitimacy” to a sector that had been “marred with controversy and fly-by-night operators”. He added that BetVIP provided this, and more, with a public […]

Don't bother, they've obviously gone under mate.
I can get no response from support, nobody coming on here to update.
I've lost 1.67 bitcoin....what have others lost?
 Angry

And the stunning irony of Schwartzkopff, founder of BetVIP, using the term 'fly-by-night operators'
You couldn't make it up.

My hopes are that Schwartzkopff is too well known for him to just walk away and stiff us players although you could be right.

BetVIP is not responding to communication.

Believe it or not......this was posted on this forum last year by betVIP when Bitcoinlivebets went missing:

BetVIP:
The owner of Bitcoinlivebets has clearly absconded. This is the problem when dealing with services which are NOT transparent and you have no idea who is running it. Anonymity is great but it's here to protect the users - not the business owners.

Anyone affected by this is welcome to come over and register at https://www.BetVIP.com, we are the only licensed bitcoin sportsbook, and as such there are regulations and systems in place to prevent issues like this. Our management is completely transparent and we have been featured in the Wall Street Journal among others.

Next 20 users to post in this thread today the 16th of July only with their account name at BetVIP.com will receive a 0.01 BTC FREE BET. Place it on odds of greater than 1.5 (or 0.5 excl. stake) - if you win you can withdraw it, no questions asked. We also have our famous 100% sign up bonus up to 1 BTC should you wish to deposit,

Kind regards,
Daniel Schwartzkopff

Well I requested my funds around 7 or 8 hours ago.
I have received nothing.

On top of that, I was told by  Schwartzkopff on twitter yesterday that the reason the site was down was for maintenance:
Now we are told today  it's for 'administrative reasons'
It can't be both.

We can't say that until after June 30th...the date they say we will have all received our funds by.
Personally, I don't see why withdrawals can't be processed as they are received.
Why a two week delay?

"On the plus side, BetVIP didn't take the money and run."

Why do you write that?
Have they paid anyone?

The last I read they weren't letting anyone withdraw till the end of the month.
That sounds very sketchy and doubtful imo.
