I see A rated sportsbooks, B rated ones, C and even D and than the unwanted F rated ones, however in none of them I can see onehash ?
I mean those dudes are doing sportsbooking a bit differently than others and allow you to be your own oddmaker with gamblers basically gambling against each other in a player versus player sportsbooks deal however that doesn't change the fact that they are in fact a sportsbook.

I don't know what the reason is for them to be kept away from the list but looking at what makes a website A rated or B rated I can already say they are above many of the sportsbooks in this list, maybe not A rated but certainly B rated to say the least. They have amazing offers a lot of games, no reason to scam you with odds considering you are the one making the odds and many other stuff, why wouldn't they be listed here ?

Can you change to American odds on OneHash?

By my converter, their odds on the SuperBowl are way off. They have it at Patriots (1.406) -246 and Rams (2.92) +192.

Most Books have it at Patriots -125 and Rams -115.

Mutual betting without fixed odds. Right now, more money is on Patriots so the odds are lower, but it's likely they'll go back up once people start taking the Rams for value. Your odds aren't locked in until the game starts.

Most Books have it at Patriots -125 and Rams -115.

Find a better book, that's very high juice.

Hi Shaun, does mBet have an email address? It's looks like everyone except Bitcoinrush has chat.

Sorry I missed this.

Yeah customer_support@mbet.io  but this doesnt go to a ticket system.

It is much better if a player contacts us on live chat that way if the issue needs to be escalated it can immediately.

I am understanding that it is a bit different than others but they are sportsbooks after all. Soccer is a big number one there and many people use the soccer betting there since the games are a lot. Nba games are maybe 10 games a day if we are lucky, nfl is just certain days of the week, whereas soccer has every day of the week with many games from European cups to local cups to leagues.

I love playing there no matter what. The feeling of making your own odds is much better than betting on other places. Sometimes you have worse odds than a regular nitrogensports like place but sometimes you have amazing odds and chasing those odds are what makes this game so entertaining. I usually know who to bet and when to bet and than just compare odds on other places on top of that and whenever I see a much much better odd I just go in on it.

Just a question I would like to ask on Cloudbet, because they are sponsoring a pool I am in (English Premier League Bitcointalk pool) so I expected them to be quite high in the rating. But really surprised to see them ranked D. I know trust issues are a thing, so perhaps a lot of bad history with them, but then the same thing can be said for betcoin.ag, yet they are in A.

I don't use either yet, but know both. Sorry for the inconvenience, but why the large gap?

From what I gather, OneHash is Parimutuel betting. So it is like horse racing betting. You don't know what the final odds will actually be until all bets are in, and you don't know how much you will win until you see how many bets and how much money is wagered. But you have an idea how much based on odds at all other regular sportbooks. So, you could wait until close to game time to see how the bets are coming in and whether there is value there. But it could change even at the end.

For instance, it looks like you can get the Patriots at really good odds right now, but that's just because the total amount bet is very small so far and a larger bet just came in on the Rams.

You can read more here to understand how Parimutuel betting works, but if you know horse racing, it is like that.

Slaman - thanks for the post. We want questions and opinions from all posters. Player discussion is what this thread is for so that we can make our own decisions on where to play.

In the past, there were delays in grading and replying to questions from Cloudbet especially on the weekends. That has gotten much better with Cloudbet since Ronnie's on board. Every time I'm about to give Coudbet an upgrade, something seems to go wrong. Cloudbet has accepted wagers from restricted countries. After the fact, when a couple of players asked for a withdrawal, Cloudbet asked for KYC and the players are having problems getting paid.

The top books aren't asking for KYC. It's fine if a book closes your account for any reason they deem, but they can never confiscate funds. Confiscating funds results in a downgrade no matter where a player is from. Here are a couple of complaints, one is today.

Quote
Cloudbet Stole me 30BTC !!

-   I opened an account with Scambet a month ago, deposited 25BTC

-   Reasons why I deposited big: I am new to crypto casino, didn’t know much scams before, trusted their license (Montenegro license which I found out it’s actually an empty license after I was scammed, which means they operate WITHOUT license!); also they claimed to have highest limits and I saw each premier league game they could take up to 10-15BTC per bet max.

-   Honestly speaking, this scammy company opened account and took deposit at lightning speed, as their promotion slogan.

-   Betting result: I won 5BTC via betting on big matches like premier league, Bundesliga, LaLiga.

-   3 weeks ago, when I tried to withdraw, they asked me to verify my phone number, I did. Then they asked for all sorts of docs like passports, address proof etc. I provided them straight away.

-   My withdrawal didn’t go through, it’s in “pending” status for over 2 weeks. I kept chasing but they just gave copy-and-paste sort of reply like “it’s being processed by our payment department, as soon as that process is finished you’ll be able to receive your winnings”, “I’ll leave a note to our payments team so that it will be processed as soon as possible”, ”I understand your frustration but unfortunately I am not part of the payment teams/investigation/security teams” etc. You know, typical Scambet style.

- It’s particularly hilarious when you know this company it’s being operated by only 5 staffs/shareholders/thieves. But nobody working there knows what’s going on in the company. They will take your deposit instantly, without any needs to check, as stated online “You don’t need to provide Cloudbet with any personal information, all you need is an valid email address”. But GUYS. don’t ever dream about withdrawals, when it is big money, they will pay you as soon as they finish all their internal procedures which no one could ever tell you what it is. They just pick big or winning fish to SCAM, as simple as that. I wouldn't advise players not to join, as it is actually a perfect platform for losing players, fast account opening, lightning deposit and can take big bets! They won't bother you at all if you lose and withdraw the penny leftovers.

-   My account was being LOCKED since last week. No emails, no nothing. Scambet support told me last week that their colleague would write me an email soon but guess what, NOTHING, of course! They only care about how much they could still steal from you further. Till the day you build up your trust in them and deposit / win big, your value is done. Harvest time! Once you are trapped, they disappear!

-   Now they are holding me up 30BTC, and I couldn’t login to my account anymore. Luckily I got all the screencaps evidences etc.

-   From previous complaints I realized that Scambet is good at making up fancy excuses in an attempt to steal players money.

Upsidedown and barnstorm - thanks for the input on Onehash. It seems as though there is very little liquidity at Onehash. It says less than .01 in the bank in some major markets. Is this your experience or am I missing something?

Some books ban players from the US and/or UK. I'm not recommending this, but you can access the sites using a VPN. Books with no KYC will allow you to play.

Never use a VPN to get into a sportsbook from banned countries with KYC. They will confiscate your money and it may be winnings plus deposit. If a book confiscates money, it will lead to a downgrade.

Also, do not use a VPN to multi-account to circumvent limits. Books are now sophisticated enough to find out if you multi-account by betting pattern or if you use the same computer for both accounts.

Correct. They even still had entertainment and political markets up from 2017!

Maybe Soccer and NBA do better around game time.

Rather than the wagered amount it is more about the style of which allow players to gamble. I mean it is definitely not the greatest place and has a big lack of gamblers there almost all the time but they are unique compared to all other places. So they have one amazing thing going for them and one bad thing going for them. They lack the wagered amounts to make a difference which is the bad side of their website and you have to check out the games to find some games wagered (soccer games usually have a bigger wagered amount on their exact date and usually fine) but aside from that you can't really bet on many other stuff.

Moreover, the good side is their unique system where you can wager against other people instead of the house. It depends on how you look at it, if you have a lot of money to wager then they are not for you, however if you wager small amounts its a great place.

@OP thank you for your very detailed explanation (I didn't quote as it's quite long). I agree with you about 2 things in Bitcoin gambling:

1. Never ask for KYC. If you accept Bitcoin, then accept it. Don't make a fuss about ID later on. If you want to verify people, do it before you let them deposit. Simple.
2. If you close accounts, I agree, it is your right. But never, ever, right to confiscate funds. You can take back winnings, but never people's deposits.

So if the rating for Cloudbet is because of those, then I guess we have to accept it. It is a shame however, it seems very professional.

I think Onehash has one of the most interesting looking platforms (I like how they use the actual faces of sportsplayers in individual matches, for example), but as upside down says... it's practically impossible to find a good bet on there. Even when you do find great odds (actually they have so many good odds) but the max market has is not even 1 mBTC sometimes, so it's very poor choice for active players.

I do see onehash trying to promote their place recently on this forum though. Maybe if enough people came together, we would see marketplaces like them come up quicker?

That is both amazing and also terrible. 10 bitcoin is better than nothing so there is really no point of complaining about the amount and consider it a luck since you will be getting free 10 bitcoin shared among the players who gamble there.

Moreover, considering how many people bet on something like superbowl which is probably one of the most gambled match in the sportsbook world (probably the biggest) and how many people gamble on nitrogen sport, that 10 bitcoin will drop down to something quite insignificant and small when shared among everyone betting there. However like I said that is not a complaint, just a warning, don't think people will get 10 bitcoin each or something, it will be seriously small amount shared between many people but it is still better than not doing anything.
