[STAT]

pool.burstcoin.io (Uray's) -  366 miners - US (San Francisco)
pool2.burstcoin.io (Uray's) -  150 miners - SG (Singapore)
pool3.burstcoin.io (Uray's) -  37 miners - EU?
mine.burstcoin.info (fanepatent's) -  not avable for me? - EU (Bucharest, Romania)
burst.cryptomining.farm (koko2530's) -  40 miners - US, EU,SG
178.62.39.204 (Dev's V2) - 456 miners - EU (United Kingdom)
198.199.103.145 (Dev's V1) - no info - US (San Francisco)

@Uray, fix share = min([ 100 / sqrt( Deadline + 100 ) ]^2.25, 50)

EU server is actually located on Ireland

its max( 100 / sqrt( Deadline + 100 ) ]^2.25, 50)
so share value is max capped to 50.0

So uray, how do i convert timestamp/block height into the date?

you need to know timestamp of block-0
then add blocktime to that block-0 timestamp you get unix timestamp of current block

or you can use getTime API to get current timestamp in blocktimestamp unit, so you have reference of current timestamp in block timestamp unit

OK, thanks, but then how do i take this and turn it into a dd/mm thingy? Or a string saying September 24 or something?

Average deadline = 2^42/BaseTarget/TB_of_Plots
So if you want to get average deadline of 200k every block (BaseTarget=2.5M) - you must have about 8.8 TB of plots.
Correct me, if i`m wrong.

its max( 100 / sqrt( Deadline + 100 ) ]^2.25, 50)
so share value is max capped to 50.0
if Deadline =1 ,
 max( 100 / sqrt( Deadline + 100 ) ]^2.25, 50)  =  175,8484135
 min( 100 / sqrt( Deadline + 100 ) ]^2.25, 50)  =  50

if Deadline =100000 ,
 max = 50
 min = 0,07490514738

I think his "max" - is not a max value of two arguments. It`s max value of 50 for the first arg  Smiley

Speaking of different miners, I am having a hard time finding instructions for the miner that is just "miner.exe" I don't know for sure, but I think that's blago's miner. Now, I can't find the page with the information on how to setup the miner's config. Can someone kindly point me to the right place? Thanks!

I would also like to test blago's miner, as I had problems with Uray's miner on windows not reading the files fast enough for certain blocks and have heard blago's should perform the best, so I'm curious to try it out.

miner-burst

stable version. (tested Win7 x64)
https://www.dropbox.com/s/y6ar5kks2vgarrd/miner-burst-1.141006.zip?dl=0

* fixed crashes
+ add new bugs  Grin

sdl - sent deadlines
rdl - recieve confirms deadlines
ss - sent getMiningInfo to server
rs - recieved getMiningInfo from server
(0) - errors

usage:
Code:
miner.exe
Code:
miner.exe -config your_conf_file_name
Code:
miner.exe -config c:\bla-bla\your_conf_file_name

miner.conf:
   "Mode" : "pool" or "solo"
   "Server" : address or IP server's
   "Paths":["C:\\pocminer_v1-burst\\plots","D:\\pocminer_v1-burst\\plots","E:\\pocminer_v1-burst\\plots","G:\\pocminer_v1-burst\\plots","H:\\pocminer_v1-burst\\plots","F:\\plots"],
   "CacheSize" : 100000  (how many nonces calculate)
   "ShowMsg" : false  (show server's messages)
   "ShowUpdates" : false (show server's update-messages)
   "UseSorting" : true (sorting deadlines before sending)
   "SendInterval": 300 (in ms, time interval for sending)
   "UpdateInterval": 3000 (in ms, time interval for updating)

Notes:
if, after processing all the files you do not see 100% - you have a problem with files.
In the absence of parameters used default values.
Tested at Uray's pools & solo.
Don't set SendInterval & UpdateInterval too low
In "pool" mode miner have not deadlines limit, if server not support targetDedline
In "solo" mode deadlines  <= 10 days (864000s)

it finds both my plots but doesnt mine. I have it set to pool.

I've tried using this with pool 1 the original pool, and it says it
Connect Function Failed with error": 10049

it finds both my plots but doesnt mine. I have it set to pool.

1. do not write "http://" to address string, only IP.
2. miner yet do not support Dev's pools.

Relax, I’m russian!...

http://mine.burstcoin.info is up again. ISP had blown hardware due to storm last night

Also, 6 of the 10 TB ordered with the shareholder money is halfway plotted, the other 4TB drive hasn't arrived yet, but we will be purchasing more hardware as well.

Our apologies for the outage, but there's not much you can do when the ISP takes a dump. We're working on a redundant solution or clone server so that this doesn't happen again.

But do know we're on all dedicated hardware now, and dedicated IP address, so anyone who was mining with us before, and any of our investors are good to come back now, you don't want to miss what we have in store. Wink

LINUX CPU plotter updated

* added async writing

Async writing can help with slower disks and larger stagger sizes.
However, it will use 2x memory.

Have fun Smiley
