i am just figuring out some technical stuff of the burst protocol and think it is possible to integrate a blockchain driven chat system.
before i start to code a proof of concept i would like to ask if 1 burst per chat message sounds reasonable.
not sure how long it takes to finish a first version but i aim for about 4 weeks.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Awesome!

Regarding the fee, could you even make it any lower given the protocol?

the fee is set by burst itself for sending a message. the chat would monitor the chatroom creators burst address for unconfirmed transactions and show them as soon as soon it is broadcasted and seen.
everything is planned to be based on api calls to the wallet.
if a new cheaper tx type would be introduced the price for a message could be lower.

We have dropped satoshidice, or atleast until they explain their latest errors. I feel they have turned a scam, and can pull their exit scam anytime, so until they come up with a good explanation for their latest errors and missing coins we wont invest there.

I have already removed all bitcoins from there, SUCCESFULLY, and found another good casino:  https://betking.io  , second biggest after SD

We will use that from now on, it is pretty easy to use and more reputable nowadays, so if you are a gambler, please support them.

The money is already invested there the entire 1.05 BTC + another 0.2BTC I added from the altcoin trading account to make it more profitable. I set the investment to 1 Kelly, let's see how well it will perform, i will measure it every day Smiley

So let's revive INCOME asset!

I've been investing in betking.io for about 6 weeks months now.  I'm at about 2% profit currently.  It seems decent but the profits dont seem to be coming very fast, so I've been thinking about whether tolook for something else.  Anyone have an analysis of which are the most profitable casinos?

By the way, at 1 Kelly on betking.io you arent going to make any money (or lose any).  Like, at ALL.  Almost everyone quickly learns that you need to set it to 10 to have it do anything, so most of the money there is risked at 10x.  As a result, all the people who are at '10x' are actually at slightly more than 1x, and the noobs who are at lower risk levels are actually risking and gainingalmost nothing.  So your 1x bet is goign to essentially sit there unchanged forever.  You need to change it to 10 to get anything out of it.

Youre lucky that you missed the 30 BTC loss from yesterday.  I went from up 3% after ~6 weeks to up 2% from that one bet. Sad

Ok i`ve set it to 5 kelly, it seems more reasonable, we already made 16k satoshi, with 5 it will be 5x faster. The current % share is about the same as on SD, there we had 0.024% so i`ll test it this way for a few days, and if its ok then i`ll set it to 10 kelly.

I think betking is the best one at the moment, SD had 1.90 edge and only 50% was paid out to investors, betking has 1% edge and takes 25% comission so thats a little bit less, however betking has the option for 10x kelly, and it has a larger volume these days, so I`d stick with that.

SD has become very shady these days, I fear they can go scam anyday, it was rumors that the site was sold, so whatever positive reputation you see from previous owners, might not be there for the new owners. Plus there was some glitch of some sort and many people lost coins, we didnt, but i`m not risking the INCOME funds there, and the customer support hardly answers any problems and havent resolved any since.

It's a huge red flag for me. I think the INCOME funds are safer in betking for the moment, plus I will add more from the trading account after we made some more profits there, to get some nice passive profits from this Smiley

Hey BURST community.

Sorry for being inactive as of late, just been busy, not been gone. I'm still here. As I always will be. BURST is my main coin, and I don't see that changing. I see other people coming to the coin, and it growing.

That being said, still planning to release another asset, I just don't want to give dates because I'm so busy I can't say for sure when at this point. But I can say that I am going to do it... someday. haha.

byte.enterprises website is taken down, I will not renew the domain. But don't worry, I will make tiga make me a new site and host it on my crowetic.com domain. The old site wasn't accurate anymore anyway, and hardly ever got any traffic.

Also, wallet.burst.city is also down, and domain will not be renewed.

I don't need all of these domains. lol. I will renew burst.ninja of course, and that has already been done. The pool will of course stay running. Hoping eventually to have a new UI (that I've been hoping for forever.)

I am also in control over the main burstcoin.info domain, and I've renewed that as well, from my own pocket. (as I do all things lately. lol) If anyone feels like they'd like to donate to that cause, feel free, but I'm not asking for it.

I think I'm still one of the largest BURST holders, and definitely largest of the asset holders, and I plan to stay that way. Tongue

I've got a bunch of ByteEnt for sale if anyone is interested... check AE. The asset will continue to function as it always has, and I've got plans for boosting the returns on it as well. Just haven't put them into action quite yet. Tiga decided that he didn't feel worthy, even though I told him he's stupid. He felt the need to give his % back to me. I'll pay him in some way if i have to force him to take it. lol.

But yea, just wanting everyone to know that ByteEnterprises is still alive, even though the page is not. Burst.city wallet hasn't been alive in quite a while, and I'm not sure where cat is right now, but I assume he's gonna come around at some point, but we don't need that domain thanks to our good friend H. Thanks For everything Haitch. I've got a bunch of assets for you. Get in touch. Wink

Thanks all. Looking forward to the future!

Hey BURST community.

Welcome back crow, a lot of updates from your part. I`m also eager to await what news you will present about BURST. Maybe we should select a main developer, and we will need a new forum ANN?

A lot of websites you take down but I can understand it if nobody used it.

And who wants to use webwallet can still use haitch's wallet:  https://wallet.burst-team.us:8125/index.html

You need to change it to 10 to get anything out of it.

Yes you are right, now it's at 10 kelly and it's much faster

It's more profitable than SD by far. Thanks for the tips.

With this pace we can pay the next round of dividends pretty soon for INCOME asset Smiley

Current Asset Investors,
We have moved all BURST to out EXCHANGE and are transferring all BURST to BTC for investment until the Playground Launch.

We will update you on where the investments are and what our earnings (est) may be per asset owned.

Thank You,
Lenore

EDIT:

We have pulled the Burst and invested in into lending until the date of the Playground Launch.

This way we can get a return to our Investors before or on the date of the launch.

Then all Burst will be returned to the house and will supply the bank roll.  We will continue on with the Playground Asset Layout. Of returning all investment returns via winnings to asset holders.

Thanks, and I agree. I will hopefully have news at least of my new asset soon, and I wholeheartedly agree upon the selection of a new dev being a priority. Hoping a few things I've got going on may make that area happy.

I think a forum ANN is a pretty good plan, I just registered on the new forum myself, though I haven't posted there yet.

Also agree @ haitch's wallet, without haitch, ninja pool would not be running today, he's owed a big debt of gratitude from all of us mining on ninja, and the BURST community as a whole, as he's a huge contributing factor to keeping everything going. I know I haven't had the time, and honestly haven't really put the necessary effort into the server that I should've. So haitch is crucial in that respect, too.

But yea, I'm thinking things are going to start coming together here soon, so stay tuned.

@playground asset, I think I missed the boat on the asset purchase, what happened there? is it too late to get in?

@playground asset, I think I missed the boat on the asset purchase, what happened there? is it too late to get in?

I like to new forum as well.  I have to log in and see whats going on have not been on since yesterday.

I did notice that with wallet.burst-team.us wallet that I get a security issue with the https://  says i believe the security ticket is obsolete or what not forget exactly what the error was but I know its still available. But it may shy some away that aren't familiar with it or know its the real thing.  May shy a few away that do not know.

You did not miss the boat.  We have sold 22,404 and seem to have others interested.

The asset is still available.  Asset ID: 15589285291102307016.  I am sure you know where to find it.  LoL.

So excited.  Seems like the BURST Community is being stimulated at the moment.  Which is great.  Activity on twitter as well.  So I know people are talking about BURST from time to time.

Can not wait to see what happens in the near future.

Have fun all.

Let me know when you get that other ANN done.  Ill be one of the first there to read it.

Well, I think I'll double your sales, maybe that'll get it kicked off a little quicker? Though, not sure how you're gonna structure everything, seems to me being a big early investor in something may pay off. Wink

But yea, anything BURST related people start, I'm interested, and thus far you seem legit, hopefully it'll keep going that way, I like helping out new starts in things, so lets give it a shot, gonna place my buy shortly, 22404 ya say? Why not 30k? Cheesy

Oh you werent jokin.  Lol.  Greatly appreciated.

Under half the asset left for sale.  That is great!   Shocked

I will be issuing a full break down of where all the assets are and what they are earning.  I have used a lot of my coins Burst and the alike, and have made small investments all over.  To find what pays what and what might be risky business.  The deal is.  I would rather invest in something that pays lower then something that pays high but comes with risk.  I don' want to lose anyones coins.

Also for anyone who places a bet.  hey can see exactly where there transaction went and where their Burst is being held for that bet.  So they can watch and see where all bets are at any one given time.  I know most people can do this anyways.  But they will see there transaction and all associated with that bet.  And they can directly see their payout to there address if they win.

I will be releasing a load more info in short time.  I have no trade feedback here on Bitcointalk.   But I am not here to steal from anyone.  I enjoy coins and want in, not out and be on the run from others I have taken from.  Not good for business. There will be a break down issued along with maybe some diagrams as I know some like pictures.  lol.

Anyways enough talking.   Fingers are starting to hurt.  Calices are wearing off the letters on the keyboard.

If anyone has any questions about anything please feel free to ask.  I wish that everyone knows exactly what they need or want to know.

Just one more thing in this post anyways.  Burst is an awesome coin.  And I am in for the long haul and I hope others will jump on board with anything Burst related as well.  Anything that may help the community I am up for.  The more you can do with a coin I beleive the more value it gives it.  Makes it more attractive unlike myself.  lol

Lenore, are you hitting https://wallet.burst-team.us:8125 or https://wallet.burst-team.us ? If you try and hit the wallet without the :8125, you'll get an SSL error - there's nothing there. You need the :8125, and you'll get a fully secure connection to the wallet - Commercial SHA256 certificate with the connection encrypted over TLS1.2.

It must have been without the port.  Because its fine now.  I was able to go to the wallet just with an error saying it was unsafe.  The link was clicked from somewhere but im not sure where.

I am glad i know this now.  Thank you.  It was a link i found from somewhere on my venture.  I do not belive it had the port just the address without the port.

I might have had an invalid redirection in there earlier, let me see if I can tweak it.
