I'm curious, how many miners have toasted hard drives mining this? I heard it was a hard drive killer that is really good at killing older hard drives.

If start mining BURST, then there is a risk to smash his hard drive? It's no good, of course. And if the drive is not old and SSD drive? Then it will not be any harm? Or injury will be for each drive?

Entropy is a bitch, there is a chance your hard drive will be ruined no matter if it is running or not.

So far, we have seen no indication that mining BURST has a damaging effect on drives.

I'm using new external hard drives (12 TB total)...been mining 24/7 for 4 months.  Everything is totally fine.
