That was a year already? Wow, that went by fast :]

Happy birthday Shadowers! Especially congrats to devs for their tireless and reliable work!
Shadow matured nicely, solid foundation was built and I can't wait for what's ahead of us.

Here's my wish for next Shadow's year: less trolling, more love & friendly community and a bunch of new smart supporters!

Cheers, everybody!

Yes indeed. Over the past year we have held steady at the 20K and now a 50K plateau, and spent most days on the Bittrex volume leaderboard. This is unique for an altcoin and shows it is something special, more stability than even the respected giants.

Things are rough in the dark markets, tor is seriously compromised, governments are on the warpath, people are going to prison. Let's see if Shadow can close that chapter in history over the next year.

I ended up adding a new flag to the CLAM client: -staketo=ADDR which you can use to tell it to move coins to the new address as they stake.

Wow. That is an awesome feature.

Very cool feature!

why does the price keep going all weird and shit?

because it's not only manipulated by your usual outsider whales but mainly by the dev and shadowcrew since the start lol, they determine whatever they want re. value and price lined up with their releases.    it's a joke, i mean those with targeted usage with this coin, sure great...but otherwise, meh.

someone dump this back down to 12-19k range to i can buy up more again and sell all 49-59k range, mmmkthxbye!

Clearly a pump scheme! Once Wired and Maxim run those exuberant articles about hierarchal deterministic keys and compact ring signatures the sheep will come rushing in, and the devs will dump their holdings for hookers and blow.  Wink

Seriously, I'll download it tonight and check it out. Some improvement on the stealth transfers will be nice; right now they're still just a bit inaccessible to the muggles, with the need to pick a ring size and the rejection of transactions due to insufficient outputs.

can i have testnet coins ?

You don't have to make a BIP32 testnet address (I see it in your signature). Just make a new Normal one or Stealth one and you're good to go!
