Somebody knows when Zcash will launch and if there will be a ICO? Or only premine? how will they distribute?
And When Zcash launches, it will be a threat for coins like XMR and DASH, how do you guys see this?
The more concurrency in crypto privacy space the better. If zcash will provide superior technology and become better and safer option for privacy oriented users than xmr, than its good. Privacy wins. Yes Z.cash may have a very slight edge under ideal conditions over Monero with ring CT in the privacy / fungibility area; however there is a lot more to Monero than privacy / fungibility. There is the issue of blocksize and scaling that is currently plaguing Bitcoin. Monero has a viable solution for this. I have not seen a solution to this issue from Z.Cash at all. So privacy / fungibility alone may not win. What good is a minuscule gain in privacy / fungibility if one has to wait for many hours or even a day for a transaction to confirm as has recently been the case with Bitcoin. There is also the fact that ringCT will bring multi signature transactions to Monero. 4.4 Ring Multisignature Note that a simple version of a t of m of n ring-multisignature can be done with the MLSAG signatures. This allows a group of m participants to create a multi-signature such that t out of m must sign for the signature to be accepted as valid, and in addition, it is signer ambiguous which m keys are the participants out of the n keys. ... An expanded writeup of the ring-multisignature is in the works from Shen Noether, Adam Mackenzie and Monero Core Team in https://lab.getmonero.org/pubs/MRL-0005.pdfFor people who have the time and inclination to study technical details, I highly recommend reading all of the MRL research papers.

These XMR-shorters should learn to listen to Risto. Very limited upside for unattractively a lot of risk. Long is trend, long is the game.

wall is massive and enormous That's the short sellers at 280k trying to cover. We may hit 400 in the next 24 hours. Bid side up to 1000 now, ask down to 295k.

Orderbook is misleading often. Big walls appear and disappear, if they really want to buy that many they wouldn't advertise it?! But I also think xmr can still go x2 or x4 from here. Sold only little amount in 0.03x

They are desperately trying to protect that 310k level. They even took out more to put it in front off it.

ask side went down to 236k, shot back up to 293k, now declining past 287k again. this is so fun to watch. well, i may be unusual in that regard.

Good timing with 266 buy. What do you mean sell button is disabled? Joke. I have bought many times thinking of the possibility of selling when the price went up and everytime I hodl. Even knowing it will overshoot and I can buy lower. Just don't want to give up any Moneroj. I can't figure tops but I've gotten good at bottoms/support and accumulating there. I started out buying all the highs but never more than 0.0085 Cheap coins!!! WTF, any exchange I go to my sell button is disabled.

Seems more like we're being groomed to appreciate etherium as it appreciates, to me. Only eth has one less zero in its btc price. The longer the pattern holds, the more it seems like some half cocked plan to make more people like eth.
